Congrats on the birth of your son! As a father of a 5 and 6 year old Im familiar with the feeling.

You have a great and very detailed thread, thanks for sharing. Do you ever run TT with nasa ne?

Thank you. I find myself just staring at him with tears of joy in my eyes. It's amazing. I would love to run with NASA, just not sure how my cat would be classed.

There goes the car budget ROFL.

Congrats to you and the Mrs! I've got three of my own.. that feeling of seeing, holding, and hearing them for the first time can't even be described.

Lol! Should be ok for next season depending on how our sponsors are doing. And thank you so much. Just over joyed.

Congrats on the baby! Sounds like you ended your season well, nicely done. I have Autocrossed with Bobbys front uppers as well a few events and it really is crazy how much different it feels.

Congrats dude! It sure is a surreal feeling isn't it? My 2 month old daughter has me wrapped around her little itty bitty finger. Say bye bye to sleep for a while! LOL

Thank you!!! Season ended well but not like we wanted. We'll see when we can get back out there and make a run for a championship.

I see a new mechanic in the making

I feel ya brother, its life changing to say the least. Takes lots of pics because it goes quick, I know it doesnt seem like it right now but it will LOL.

NASA does weight to power ratio along with aero, tire width limits. At first it seems confusing but if you read the rules enough times it actually starts to make sense. Understanding the language is the hardest part, sometimes Im like who the F wrote this. The easy thing is what ever class your in will directly crossover to the wheel to wheel class if you ever go that route.

Ive run with NASA NE this year a bunch. Great group of guys, they do Watkins Glen and HOLY S$#t that is a REAL race track. That should be on your list if you havent been there yet.

I do TT with NASA Mid Atlantic so Im pretty familiar with the operations if you have any questions.

Awesome! I've been to the Glen but only as a crew chief. I'm interested in trying different clubs for sure. NASA Definitely. I'll read the rule book as many times as I need to understand it. And thank you. I take a ton of pics of him every day. It's incredible every day.

Hey everyone and Happy Holidays!! I hope all of you have been good little DSMers all year so you can get the performance and obligatory repair parts you want!! So, not a ton of stuff going on with the car at the moment. I was able to pull the oil feed for the turbo and make up a new one. Also found out that the line that goes to the mechanical gauge is actually the one that completely failed and was leaking, so I'll repair that as well. I picked up a set of Bobby's rear upper arms from Drew when he parted his car out (sad face). So looking forward to installing and setting those up. Also got my fender braces from Compworks yesterday. So stoked on the quality and finish of them. Can't wait to install them.

Something else that's not car related, but tow vehicle related, I picked up an '03 Escalade with the 6 liter LS in it. Once it starts getting warm out, I'm going to swap it into my Tahoe. I hate the Cadillac's looks and body style, and absolutely love my Tahoe. Also picked up a nice front brake upgrade for the truck to help whoa us down when towing. That's another project that I'll cover on here. Baby's doing great! He'll be 2 months on the 17th! Time is absolutely flying. I'm also working on getting more fit so I can be more competitive in the car/kart

Hope everyone has a great holiday season filled with family, friends and loved ones!!!

Hey everyone. Hope everyone had a great New Year! Got some work done on the truck and car just before the new year. Did the new brakes on the truck. Also started running the new lines for the oil feed to the turbo and started the AN lines for the wastegate and BOV. Bought a bunch of stuff to redo the exhaust as well. Also picked up new front rotors, the DBA two piece rotors. Gonna go to the hawk blue pads, so wanted to make sure I had nice new rotors to accompany the pads.

Hey everyone. Some updates on the car. Got the new DBA two piece rotors on the car with Hawk blue pads. Also finished plumbing the wastegate and bov AN line probably going to shorten the the BOV line a bit. It's pretty long. Got the intake manifold back in. Got the new coils mounted. Making progress.

Hahahaaa.....it was red. Was. Now it's a bright shade of "needs to be replaced" LOL
Funny, the black ones look that same color after several track weekends. I was going to create a heat shield for it to prolong the life of the internals but never got around to it.

Got a little work in yesterday as the weather was really nice out. Nothing too serious. Just replaced my ancient rear upper arms with Bobby's absolutely gorgeous uppers. Really can't wait to try them out. Also acquired an oil accumulator from Moroso. And a tire pyrometer from Longacre. It's good to have tire data and engine protection.
