the car i am building now has the FIAV and ISC removed. can i feed something else into the ISC input and use it for logging? a fuel pressure sensor would be the bees knees. does link have an ability to swap that sensor? i have link v3 for this built but the motor is still next to the car.

i know the EGR input can be used but i want to run a boost sensor on it, and a wideband in narrow sim mode. the 1g does not have a ton of other options.

ISC pins on ECU are not sensor inputs, they drive the ISC stepper motor coils. The ECU just hopes it complies and doesn't blow the drivers due to short.

Good idea. Natural thought that extends to this is a SPDT switch in the cabin so you can do it on the fly, at least in terms of sensor itself, but just watch for voltage drop as any will affect sensor readings. Anything less than 5mV I wouldn't be overly concerned about.

What MIVEC butterfly?

Anything that falls within the operating parameters of the drivers could potentially be used but only if the ECU code is sending the correct voltage signal at the correct time.

Single pole dual throw switch.

It has three terminals which allows you to complete a circuit one of two ways depending on if the switch is in the up or down position
