First off, I've got a left rear that's locking up. Oddly the caliper seems OK when hanging loose. Piston pushes in easily enough it seems. However, if I slip it over the pads and press the brakes it locks solid. One suggestion was a problem with the brake line swelling (I have SS Braided lines, which are fairly old), but I had no problem pushing fluid back with the piston... So I'm thinking the caliper piston is sticking enough to not release easily, but not enough for me to feel significant extra pressure when pushing it in.
So, researching replacement parts I can't find even such simple things as rotors for the rear of this car anymore... However, the post 11/94 2g parts are still readily available. If I can't find the correct parts for the original vented rear rotor setup, what all do I need to convert to the later spec (solid rotor) brakes? Is it as simple as rotors, brackets, calipers, and pads? Or is it more involved (I would really like to keep my parking brake...)?
