So i was removing my shitty IAC valve that came with the engine from DSM and when i tried slowly pulling it out the whole thing split apart into 3 sections (so far.) The first pic is how it came out once I unscrewed it. The second is what was stuck at first, but slid off. Now I'm stuck with the valve itself stuck in the port (third picture.)

How do I get this out? I'm afraid if i try pulling it out any harder than I tried it's going to break a piece off into my engine. WD40?

So am I f***ed or how would I get it out?

You're screwed (you unbolted the wrong bolts you twaat) . There are still 2 more bolts behind the half of the sensor you removed

Remove those two screws so the hole looks like this

How so? There are three, the 90 style, the original metal 91+, and the new plastic 91+ version. The 91+ plastic version is the preferred version if you have a 91+ ISC/IAC since it's less likely to short out and damage your ECU.

Yeah it had the brown one. I am installing a newer black one hoping that fixes my stalling issue.

Post a picture of this part you speak of.

Did you use a screw driver or an 8mm socket?
It was the front/top of it without the part that attaches to the manifold. I was able to get the part off that this replaces but I couldn't get the rest of it off where the valve was, so it wouldn't fit. I used a screw driver because it had the rounded edges, it won't fit a socket. The full part does though. The full part has 2 bolts, this one has 3.

What's up with the 3 bolt flange on the one you are showing? That looks like the one used by the Evo 8, which has a 3 bolt flange.
I know like nothing about GVR-4, but Rock Auto shows the familiar 2 bolt flange ISC/IAC for the 1991 GVR-4.

Rock Auto has good pics what it should look like. Usually their prices are good too, but I see the price on this item has doubled since I bought mine about a year ago!!

Anyway, here, the IAC section for your car:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...,fuel+&+air,idle+air+control+(iac)+valve,6072

and here, the "info" for the Airtex/Wells. That picture, you can scroll through it, there are 5 pics there.

But for the 1991 Talon, they still list the Standard Motor Products "AC146" for less than the price a year ago.
This is what I expected to see for your car. I don't know why they don't show it there. But this is what I have in my car, the Standard Motor Products AC146. It seems fine. I just had to swap some wires around because mine is a 1990.

The 3 bolt one is only half of the IAC for the 2g 4G63T I have. The other half that connects to the intake manifold that holdes the actual valve in place has 2 bolts. It doesn't have the stock GVR4 engine, it has a swapped Eclipse GSX 4G63T.
