what class are you running at the Shootout?

The getting drunk in the grandstands haha! I like to enjoy the shootout not be stressed out all weekend racing it. I may make a test and tune pass or two.

That's really good MPH. Nice work!

Thank you! Next time out I hope to figure out these launches. What a difference from 18" street tires to these slicks! During the next test and tune I will be able to get much more than 3 chances to get it right. July 20th is the next one, so stand by!!!!

I haven't been able to log in for like 2 weeks! Here are some sweet fricken updates though!

SET A NEW PERSONAL BEST AGAIN!!!!
-also-
I FOUND A TRAILERRRR!!!! 24' enclosed! For the price I paid you CANT BEAT IT! Needs a little bit of love but nothing major!

Next up will be the floors and then I can add cabinets and all the cool stuff that hangs on the walls.

Over the past weekend we hosted a small dyno event. I decided to hop on at the current setting and see what its making. Drove my car up to the dyno instead of trailering it..turned out to be a bad idea haha. It is typically a 30 min drive from my house to the dyno - I hit a detour that took an extra 20 minutes....Also, earlier in the day it had rained so when I took this detour the roads were COVERED in mud from the construction! I happened to look down at my wideband and it was dead flat at 14.7..lovely. THANKFULLY this detour routed me right passed an autozone! Grabbed a new Bosch o2 sensor and I was on my way! Made it to the dyno looking like I had just went offroading and set some new personal best numbers.

**THIS IS ON FIC 950cc INJECTORS AND 110 FUEL WITH 60 PSI BASE FUEL PRESSURE**

First pull was 480 and were like umm WTF... Dyno was in 2wd mode LOL!
Second pull was 670 at 44 ish psi without changing anything from the previous drag runs at 146.9 mph!
Third pull I took some fuel away and made 692 at 44 psi
Fourth pull I added a tiny bit of fuel back in and cranked it to 46 psi and made
***716 hp 614 tq***

This has to be some sort of 950cc injector record haha!

The car is still on that same hp setting so I am excited to hit the track friday and see what it does!!! Enjoy some dirty nasty pics

My phone died so I wasn't able to get any other videos, this is the only ones my buddy got! So the car after me is Miguel and he was having ignition issues on lower boost still made 630! and then the red 1g is Jason and he made 570!

Congrats on PB! It came a long way and lots of hard work. It definitely has more left. I loved the 6466. Keep up the good work!

New lights in the trailer! To anyone with an enclosed trailer I highly recommend these lights for how cheap they are they really work well! Adhesive back too just stick them on and wire them up. Now the test is how long will the adhesive last! A 16' strip on each side and will probably do one across the front

Obviously the wires are temporary for testing purposes! Now I just need to hide the wires behind the ceiling panel and were good to go! Today my new LED dome lights will be here as well, excited to see how they are.

SOOOOO CLLOOOSSEEEEE!!!!!! Drove up to the track Friday night and it was stupid packed.. I only managed to get 1 run in.. 10.1 at 151!!! Decent launch, spun bad, when I grabbed second I was out of boost and it tool waaaaay longer than .1 seconds to get back into boost..UGHHHH. At least I hit one of my goals which was a 150 mph pass which is awesome but I really want that dang 9 second number! At least I can say I drove to the track, went 151 and drove the car home!

On the pass I threw my alternator belt, was able to make a parts store run and go grab another one!

Sorry for the sideways video, but heres a nice one from the start

Also, trailer is nearly finished! Tool box is mounted, walls done, just need to do the floors next!

I also found out yesterday the reason my videos are always so short at the ending because my fiance says she has to edit herself out haha hence cutting the length of the video shorter LOL

Met up with an old friend at a local car show. He has been building this civic for as long as I can remember and it is NASWTY! 760 hp, dogbox, 6766!

Also, in trailer news, I started on the floor coating! The pictures really don't do justice as its not as dark as it looks. Also, finished all of the lighting with the front LED strip! Should finish the floors this evening along with the rear door. My diamond plate will also be here today for the ramp fold out piece, should look SWEET!

Another Shootout in the books! Unfortunately, were coming home broken this time. Made my first pass and it broke up, threw some new plugs in it and it was RIPPING! Headed back up to the staging lanes to make another pass. The second pass was my best 1/8th mile, 6mph faster than my previous best 1/8th, buttttt torched the head near the top of 4th. This pass I coasted to a 10.2 at 149 after blowing it up!!! Lost the alternator belt at some point losing voltage and losing fuel pumps. Leaned out to god knows what - forgot my laptop at home LOL - split the upper rad hose blowing water everywhere, this put me damn near sideways through the end of the track! For S#@%s and giggles I threw a new belt and hose on and tried starting it and it burped about a half gallon of water out of the exhaust, TOASTED. Tore it down Sunday morning and found all the carnage. Time for a rebuild! I'll be back out soon to get that 9.

Man sorry to hear about what happened with the head. Hopefully the block is ok. I can't wait to see what you do once the car is back up and running again. Definitely rooting for you #team2G.

I think the block will be ok, It will need decked for sure, I am hoping I can get away with swipe honing the cylinders. If it needs bored out then the block is junked, its already .020 over #team2g !!! haha
