This was the car before i purchased it. I went to Tucson AZ for it. Got it as a shell for 500 bones. Its the PSI shop car from Tucson AZ.

Already grabbed a 7 bolt 4g63 for it. Snatched this baby for 200 bucks. From a local dsmer. Engine looks clean like it was rebuilt before but the dude i got it from has no idea. Well i proceeded to take off the spark plugs and looked into the hole. The pistons i see are not stock. To early to verify but i think they might be wiesco cause of the numeric codes on top. Also it has a balance shaft delete. Well later ill open it to verify and to see if everything looks good to go.

Well i purchased a lsd rear diff axles and driveshaft from a guy in Gonzales CA for 200 bucks. I went to pick it up in my truck. As i had a load to drop off in salinas CA that day. He gave me a few extra parts too like tail lights a clutch a sunroof and some oem parts. Really cool dude.

i cleaned the parts a bit. And on the talon it went waiting on miller import parts to send me the diff bolts and a rear lower arm.

Im on the road alot as im a truck driver. So bare with me if this threat is all over. As im uploading what i have on the phone. And as i upload everything i already did to it ill keep going fwd step by step.

And more goodies. Im on a budget so used have to do. I got an awd fuel pump assembly. From the same dude in cali.

B&M short throw shifter with some solid bushings. Came in the mail. Time to install.

Got a non cruise control cable in the mail today.

Some pte 550cc injectors got them for a steal. But just want them. So i can idle the motor and see how it does.

Also got a jmf plate with cop setup for a steal. But still thinking if i should run it or not. Because of it being a downgrade from the stock coils.

Purchased a unhacked 97 wiring harness from a local dsm guy. Same guy i got the engine from.

And let the fuse box de-pinning begin so i can do a proper wire tuck. Working late night and gave up halfways

Got my hands on 2 gst shells. Just so i can get parts like small stuff that i dont have on my talon like full 2gb eclipse convertion. And interior parts.

Well got the arm from miller import parts and the bolts. Just cleaned them a bit and paint.

I proceeded to weld the eclipse brackets and get them aligned correctly in place. So my bumper could fit flush

I cut the bumper and some frame so my diff could be a bit more visable.

Thats not the finish product on the bumper i need to smooth it out and make the bottom corners a bit more round.

No joke i think i cut the bumper a bit too high. Oh well good thing i have 2 more.

Have this bumper on layaway . A guy from dallas is saving it for me and already got my hands on a 2gb rear bumper aswell. Im just going to leave it as a talon. But a 2gb talon. Ill post pics when i get this bumper and the other one next to each other.

Yes thank you. I love talons. Its just that i dont like the 2ga's. And where i live at its very difficult to find 2gb talon bumpers. But luckily i did. And yes its a slow budget built cause of family and bills you know grown up stuff sucks but oh well it keeps me happy and active.

I got the 2gb talon front bumper from the guy up in dallas. I went on a small road trip with my wife and daughter. 8 hours up and 8 down but finally got the front talon bumper. And the rear i got from my cousin. Just need to insall to see how they look like.

Im still not sure what i want. Thats why right now im just getting stuff together. I want it around 300 to 400 with a holset hx35 t3. And see what i can do with that. Im still researching/Googling stuff and so on.

A 16g could get you close to 400hp on e85. An hx35 would surely get you there.

The guy in Dallas posted up that he was throwing a bunch of those bumpers in the dumpster if no one claimed them by last Friday. So I message him and he says yep still got all of them, and then he says the bumpers are $100 each. Lol if I had a talon it would have been worth it, but comon man, he said they were free and already in a dumpster. Glad you were able to put it to good use

Btw those appear to be ARP head studs and that head has been hot tanked and rebuilt pretty recently. The head alone is probably worth the $200 you paid

Yeah message said October 4th, I think I offered $50 and he said he needed $80. He said to hit up a guy named marc for dsm parts who's a trucker who makes lots of runs for dsm parts if I couldn't find anything I needed local. I'm guessing that is you . He seems like a good dude, but yeah he implied everything was free for pick up but alas it was not haha. Like you I already have a collection of bumpers lights and everything but I could always get another storage unit

But yeah that $200 engine has some goodies inside, they may be busted but that head looks good. No burned oil stains on the trays so the valves have good seating in the guides. The cam angle sensor indicates it's a 2g 7bolt from a 95/96 car and would require re positioning the cam sensor to run the 97+harness
