Is there anyone that makes rear subframe bushings for a 1G that sell for less then $250? Not sure if BoostX is still around, but all the threads I've found are a year or 2 old.

Well my galant is sitting in my parents garage in California while I moved to Virginia. I bought the bushings and my friend gave me a spare rear subframe so was about to start prepping it but the move came quickly and never got the chance. But shouldn't be too difficult. Burn out the old ones and clean out. Jafro did a video on it in YouTube.

I saw the video and I've done subframe bushings on 240s, can't be much different. Was more curious about the fitment.

i found this set already but is that the only option besides boostX? I found previous threads but nothing recent so i was kind of hoping maybe my search skills slacking. I guess if that is the only option ill stick with what i got and put that money to more useful things. Then look back at these when i free up some more money in my budget.

Why would you want anything else? Installation was pretty straight forward. Hardest part is getting the old one out, but that really has nothing to do with what you are replacing the old ones with. They fit tight, and seem solid. I haven't read a bad thing about them.

I love the feel of poly subframe bushings but the price of them for a 1g is crazy. My guess is its a supply and demand thing...haha. but even so the 240's ive done were 1/3 of the cost. Crazy that energy suspension makes rear subframe bushings for a few other cars but not a 1G

If you select "colour not important" on RTM's site it drops to $130 USD :) The reason energy suspension does not sell rear bushings for a 1G, I believe, is because these bushings really aren't supposed to be replaced. The fronts are easily pressed out. The rears are supposed to be a permanent part of the rear sub-frame.

well that make a lot more sense. Regardless they will have to wait for now, i have more important things to fix at the moment. Like the fact that my oil catch can is pointless (previous owners design). Basically he has a hose going from one port to the other on the valve cover with a "T" and and that one line to a catch can. HAHA. But these bushings are definitely in my future just not my current budget.

I hope this help

I will have more by next week

I have the boostx bushings in my car, and I would not recommend you change the stock ones unless they're damaged. There's nothing wrong with the boostx ones but it takes a lot of work to remove the stock ones and they are very stiff as it is.

They are $155 shipped. If you need something softer it can be done but i will need about 2 weeks lead time
