well Back in the DSM game after taking a few years off, I just got finished building my 91 tsi awd. Sadly the car is still hours away but I'd like to meet some new faces.

Looks good. I bought mine in the fall and worked on it over the spring. Just have to get the exhaust finished hopefully this weekend. Would like to meet up with other owners and people that know more about these car then I do. I was always into domestic V8 and this is my first import.

#30! Wow!! I'd guess you'd know somethings about them. Ha! Well when we get them on the road we'll have to meet up and you'll have to show me a few tricks about em.

#30....holy mother of god! I'm only on #4.

damn man she is clean! yup car is up and running I just need to deal with a few personal things before I can get the car up to Edmonton still but its in the works. also got a ton of new stuff for it. you should check out my cars profile it gets updated anytime I get anything new or make progress.

It will be nice to roll with another red 1GA!

Well it's a 50 footer. Ha! The fronts pretty chipped up. Your build is looking good. But now ya have to rip it apart again to put the no head and cams on. Lol. Oh well, it'll be worth it.

Yea that kinda sucks but when I do it I will be getting a his timing belt , clear timing cover, hopefully get my new valve cover, and can get better gaskets for both of my manifolds . So it will be worth it. Plus I have gotten pretty fast at pulling them haha.

bringing this back, who all is still around? got my dsm up to edmonton two days ago and shes almost ready to rock for the winter just need to fix a small power steering leak, wire up my smart 100.1 shift box and in free time build it a adapter harness for the new link stormX ecu!

I just stumble on this thread. My 91 is in pieces in the garage. I though having kids was better that cars so that's where it's sat for more years that I care to admit. I just sent the block in for machine work so if I keep with the pace I'm on, I should have the car ready for a cruise by 2030. :D
I should probably get a profile pic too :(

So that makes three of us in Alberta? LOL
