Hey fellow dsm fans. Im from the myrtle beach, sc area just so you know a little about me or where Im from. But down to the nitty gritty. What projects you working on for the winter? I have a project of my own stashed away but not sure what to do yet. What are you guys/gals my fellow fans working on in the shadows?

many things. i'm converting the stereo to a ford sync system, building a 4g64/ 4g63 engine and rewiring the car. If money allows, i'll start on making the new rear end for the car.

O ok what are you doing to the rear end of the car and are you building the 4g64/4g63 for horsepower?

I myself have a gst spyder with a 5speed. I brought it based on a beautiful craigslist ad and pictures but when i got there the owner had left out the fact he played mechanic and didnt know what he was doing. So im pulling my motor and transmission. Not going to headache with what he messed up LOL but i can start a fresh future build with my already disassembled engine i guess

Word you building for power? And what kinda power is the borg warner s363 capable of

just a fun street build till i get the awd parts. engine itself will be built with scat rods and still debating on pistons. should be able to get it running within the next few months. rear end will be made into a newer viper like style. redesigning the tail lights with full led throughout the car

I recently picked up a compound turbo setup that I am going to install over the winter and fix up a few other things. The compound setup is a 16g and a bw s366. I'm aiming for 600+ awhp through the auto tranny and low 10's without using nos to get up on the stall!

Well I plan on setting up for more boost in the spring, the engine is already built for it. But currently I'll be starting up with a front mount - for prep and looks (cool points) LOL  then ECMlink v3, upgrades to the fuel system, etc. I haven't turned up the boost at all yet, still currently running stock boost and stock tune on a 14b. :dsm:

I'm working on two 1gbs. One is a fwd that is a daily driver street car. Not sure if I'm going to swap my genuine evo 16g with 3000 miles out for the fp 68hta. Either way the awd is getting a turbo upgrade :)
Interested in the Evo 16g if you upgrade.

Dude...... Make a build journal a DSM profile and throw some pics up!!!!

i do. its 97 eclenger gs. i haven't been able to do much lately for money reasons, but should be able to get back to it next month and running around February... if i didn't screw any of my wiring up. every engine plug was de pinned and rewired taking out nearly 2' from every wire. tons of deletes. if it doesn't make the car run or legal to drive then its gone. body work for the viper rear end will start next year when its warm out. no garage or anything to work under. found a way i'm going to try making a custom bumper myself. i have to tweak the body lines in the back of the car slightly. i made a few sketches of what i want the rear end to look like. having a buddy make up the metal framing on the hood i designed. i'll go over it with fiberglass to shape it up. it'll be functional 2 ways. it'll remove under hood engine temps and it'll also have air go over the turbo. i'm channeling air with the avenger bumper.

I hope to put in some new cooling fans and break in my fresh 16/20g. Hopefully get DSMlink around tax time and have a good quick little car to waste out the old farts in there older cars that think they're hot shit. Lol Need to sandblast my rims too and paint em black. Work in progress!

Where can I see pictures?

the thread is 97 eclenger gs. i posted a picture of the sync box half wired in

no idea. i think there is. i'll check. its just a rough sketch. nothing final. brake lights off look like regular talon. when the brake lights on its viper

Taking off the body kit and going back to stock bumpers skirts and spoiler then building around the stock block until I blow my axles and clutch and installing guages so I don't blow the motor up to soon

This is my first serious road car and it was meant as a daily driver..... Now it's a project car. This winter, New 420A motor, doing an adjustable drop to the the suspension and possibly a front body and vented fender kit.

I went full retard went from a frank 3 20g (for sale) to a huge turbo and dogbox set up that I'm working on now
