I have never meet u man im always at the track when your there .im gonna run my car at Wednesday night tho still breaking new motor in tho mr tran really help me out with my tune remotely. So i should be out there in two weeks minA few of us will be at raceworz August 22
What part of sac are you guys from? I haven't been to a meet in years..
Hein tran can help u out remotely for small fee tell him Aaron sent u hit him up on Facebook. Or u can do ted spec but he wants 500 min to come out do you have wideband hooked up to link?Hey who do you guys usually take your cars for tunning here in sacramento? Or do you guys know of anyone? I just recently got DSMlink and injectors just don't have too much time to dial it all in.. Got my idle and cruise close but I don't have much experience on DSM link..
Uh have to wire yr wideband in link b4 u go to ted or anyone can help u with tune its super easy and then u can simulate narrow band off wb do you have yr deadtime correct are u running speed density or maf? E85haven't heard of Hein but I will definitely hit him up on Facebook, I've contacted Ted and he told me to take check a few things before I go out there, I fixed all my boost leaks, recirculated my BOV, changed spark plugs, changed Spark plug wires, I don't have my wideband hooked up to link yet, but I've been watching my A/F I'm running FIC 1250 injectors, at idle I got my A/F to stay around 14.7 and same goes when I'm cruising, but when I step on it puffs smoke my A/F goes super rich, I just don't have enough experience with link to know what to adjust on WOT situations, and due to my work I haven't had much time mess with it. I emailed Ted today so he can schedule me in, I heard he's good so it'll definitely be worth driving out there and paying the price.
what did he charge you did you link up wb to ecu?Cool thanks!so I got a hold of Ted and drove my car up there Friday night.. He got it all dialed in.. I'm boosting around 19.5psi on my high boost setting and 11psi on the low side.. I'm happy with the results. He did a good job.. he recommend to switch over to e85 so I can turn up my boost.. So I'm really considering about switching..
Yeah I did the wiring my self when I got to his place.. And for my luck my car started having issues right after we left his house.. Dead misfire on cylinder #2 & #3..we went back and started checking it out.. Had no spark on those two cylinders.. We had a new set of spark plugs in there.. So swapped coils, ignition module, wires, I had pulse from ecu only when cranking.. But as soon as it started it was gone.. No spark from that coil, pulled the ecu to check it out and since I have a converted ecu (non EPROM) almost seemed like the pins were making good contact.. But it might just be the actual the transistors in the ecu not switching.. Anyways after we checked that, I installed the ecu back in and it was all working again, se we took off so he can start tuning, by this time it was already midnight, and we didn't get back till 2am .. He was originally going to charge me $350 plus new spark plugs but since we spend t extra time figuring out that misfire it was $450.. Pretty reasonable I thot.. Hella cool guy and very knowledgeable.. He might be at sac raceway this Saturday so I'm thinking I'm going to head out there this Saturday..what did he charge you did you link up wb to ecu?
