Awesome, thank you, I appreciate you posting the boost log. Im impressed that you did this with stock cams as well!

x2. Also what exhaust manifold do you have? It looks like your average open T3 manifold in the dyno video but it's hard to tell.

This is where my setup is odd. It is the stock t3 divided holset housing, internally gated, connected to a cheap ebay open t3 manifold. I bought the eBay manifold to chop up for a mock but it fit without any modification. I fully expect this manifold to fall apart and, at that time, I will rebuild with better materials.

To be clear, I maintained the stock internal wastegate. This was accomplished by shifting the wastegate mounting points and notching the lower radiator support to shift the radiator out. This freed up another inch of room , between the engine and radiator.

Why does it hit 30 psi by 5800....... Thats slower than my hx40 was..... I saw 38psi by 5800 67lb/min.. Seems weird. You didn't hit 38psi until 6900, what gear was the pull done in?
Might be the result of divided housing and open manifold.

Great results for a very simple setup and even stock cams!

He's on stock cams. How much faster would you expect it to spool?

Yeah a 12cm housing is pretty big and it makes them laggy. Although that seems worse than I'd expect. Perhaps there's a bit of creep going on.
That's what I was thinking. Either due to boost controller settings, the wastegate not being fully seated, or blowing open. What really makes me think something is wrong with the wastegate setup is the 1,000 Rpms it takes to get from 30 to 40 psi. That's the beauty of an external wastegate, you know when it cracks open.

I think mine had about 30psi at 5000 or so, it's been 4 years since I ran that setup though

My car has a similar behavior, but I do it with ecu controlled boost to keep the torque down and help the trans live. Isn't working so fat :(

Did nobody else notice the 40 psi on stock motor part:hellyeah:? I've had mine spike there a few times but I never considered actually running it that high. Also I'm surprised you didn't have knock issues with the stock cams. I couldn't get over 17* of timing on e85 before cams at 30 psi....are the cams at stock timing?
