Evo Brembos, Galant knuckles or the adapters, & Evo rotors & pads.

And as previously stated, atleast Evo offset wheels. I'm running 17x9 +35s to fit Brembos.

I've also seen the 3G brake master cyclinder suggested, but not mandatory.

The rears are a direct bolt on and you might need to space them with a washer or 2. You will need new rear brake lines as oem is screw in and brembos are banjo. Everyone forgets to mention this part!

Fronts can be done as stated already 2 ways. Either the bracket which is drill and tap your brembo caliper or swap to galant knuckles/hub carriers! More expensive route but its all bolt on then. Front lines work with brembo calipers.

If you want to buy them cheap and rebuild them yourself use vht caliprr paint and racing brakes seals as there slightly better then brembos seals and dont break up as easy or buy there blue silicone seals if racing!

Other then that discs all work fine and check for rim clearance aswell

Do you know where i can buy the adapters? I'm more then likely gonna do the setup.

Bracket and the entire evo brake system. Plus maybe wheels if your offset isn't big enough to fit the calipers on without hitting
This is something most don't consider, you will needs evo wheels or other wheels with plenty of offset.

LovingBoost sells them on this site.

your looking at around $1,400- $2,000 for this upgrade, when its all said and done with EVERYTHING completed. Not including JDM knuckles.

Better off buying an evo....

I disagree if you have the extra cash it's a very worth while upgrade, have it done to my car and love it, and only spent about $1100 on everything rockauto has some great rotors for a decent price and can pick up the break lines from their also

Outlander up front and early 95 rears. Best value brake upgrade out there. Still going to cost a bit, but not even half of the brembo swap.

Totally worth every penny. It looks awesome and performance wise they are amazing, great stopping power. I spent around $1300 for the whole set up. It is a huge improvement to the stock brakes.

You just have to know how to shop. I bought all 4 calipers for $400, the adapter is $80, and I found someone getting rid of a full set of pads & rotors for $100. That's $580, I'll be about $1000 invested after power coating and rebuilding them. Totally worth it.

You can run the rear brake lines as is. Don't need banjos.
If your going to be a cheap ass then quite possibly but were talking upgrading calipers so new lines are really a must. Even if you have ss lines originally from the stock caliper system just change them.

There is so little line thats its not worth bending it etc to make it fit and is this another classic example of half assing the job! Lets not give him bad ideas guys and do things correctly shall we. You can half ass your own cars but not on his. its an important part of a car after all and its only $40 for rear lines.

No bodge jobs!!! Do it right first time!

You do realize DSMs are the definition of being a cheap ass right? He could buy a direct Brembo kit for $3k if he wasn't concerned about money or 4 piston upgrade from Wilwood for about $1000 or even the Stoptech kit for $2k. But really, you're trading less money for more DIY and headaches by trying to adapt the Evo Brembos.

But putting that aside, my comment was more directed as being that he can buy SS lines for a 2g instead of having to custom make separate lines for the rear and not that he can reuse his stock brake lines. I do agree that if he does upgrade the calipers the lines should be upgraded as well.
Are there bends? Yes of course, just like the front has to bend around the knuckle and will continue to bend as the steering turns lock to lock. At least with the rear all it sees is up and down motion. But I'll let the OP decide what he wants to do with his car.

I didnt mean cheap as in price bargain cheap but cheap as is will not change stuff to save a few bucks cheap haha, The most part are cheap yes but when you do certain upgrades somethings should not be by passed. This is safety after all.

Its not an expensive option to get rear lines differently. Heck jnz sell a custom set for 79$ so thats pretty cheap. I even use this set. I do understand and see your point they could be used but they are designed for banjo so just use banjo.

Im sure Op will decide on his route to take. I just feel this kind of information should not be mentioned to provoke them to save a few $ and only the correct info should be posted. hope you can see my point B-)

Is is bad that I knew OP was from the south 5 words into the post?

Is there a link to JNZ's set? I'm not seeing it on their website.

I totally agree with going with SS lines. If your going with "big brakes" you might as well go with lines as well.

The outlander set up could be a cheap upgrade.
If "big brakes" is a have to have for the op then maybe look to a less popular brake swap like the 3000gt vr4 swap. Probably get the calipers alot cheaper than brembos yet still have similar performance and look.
There was also a thread about some chevy cobalt calipers being tried on a dsm. Those are brembos so the look is there and I don't think they required a bracket like the evo swap.

If you are looking for an easy solution get the Galant knuckles. They are a direct bolt in and don't require any grinding or modifying to get them to fit. This is a pretty good link that I am using: http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/diy-install-evo-brakes-brembo-on-2g.260580/. Lets be honest, this isn't about being a cheap ass. It's about not wanting to blow 3k on front brakes alone when you can get nearly the same thing for all 4 corners for a fraction of the cost. It's just sensible. Whether you are doing a massive build or just adding some improvements to your car, chances are you don't have a limitless supply of money to spend (or else we'd be driving GT-R's not DSMs). The best thing about this build is it maintains proper brake bias because it is a proven system on another platform. For those of you wanting to do the knuckle swap here are the part numbers you need:

Galant Knuckles, Front: Left and Right
-MR369425, MR369426

EVO Calipers
-LF: 4605A435
-RF: 4605A436
-LR: 4605A437
-RR: 4605A438

EVO Rotors
-Front: 4615A031
-Rear: 4615A032

EVO Dust Shields
-LF: MR569183
-RF: MR569184
-LR: MR307333
-RR: MR307334

And obviously lines and banjo bolts. If you are going to do it, do it right. Like stated above, $80.00 for all 4 lines.

Just to push this kind of project home, I can speak from experience on the benefits of this type of swap. I put Z06 Corvette Brakes on my Silverado SS last year and spent around 3k instead of 8, and that was with brand new 6 and 4 piston calipers, 15" and 14" rotors, conversion from drum to disc in the rear, and brake lines. Is it cheap to want the same kind of proven factory brake performance that a Z06 Vette has? Just for reference, those are 20" wheels.
