Just take it out to the strip one more time if ya run 110mph you arent making 500hp (dont take it the wrong way i love your build)

I doubt I'll ever want to go back to the 1/4 mile. I'm focusing all my time on making it a better auto-x car.

Yeah, I'd say that virtual dyno is 50-75hp high. It doesn't take close to 400whp to go 110 in a fwd. Jeez I went 107 when my car was fwd on what I figured was about 300whp.

Virtual dyno reads high if you make it read high. If you put in all the information correctly, it reads accurately. I've logged Dynojet runs, and the hp reads the same on the Dynojet graph and the Virtual Dyno graph.

I think 492 was done on actual dynojet though with race gas. The runs don't match the dyno numbers because of a blown turbo or some shit like that and the fact that she can't drive for shit LOL

Definitely not a 500hp car on any of her runs but I think she knows that. I'm still not sold on this virtual dyno bs though

Even her husbands runs, and the runs on slicks are way off. at 500whp my car goes close to 100mph in the 1/8. Even on a shit pass. An AWD is heavier than a FWD too.

I've never ran the car at 500hp, my drag runs were at 380hp. Pair that with FWD, crap street tires and a newbie driver, 13's is about right.

SoCal

sucks its not AWD, and when are you gonna tint the tails?

It doesnt suck that its not AWD. I have more fun in my GST than most people I know with a GSX.

And I'm not re-tinting the tails.

No, we took I-10 west the entire way. We're already in SoCal and start house hunting today.

jk i do like your car, I wish mine was as clean. U should rly get a new gas cap tho, i just swapped mine brand new oem comes with a new gasket and plastic retainer you'll never forget it at the station one day, thats just me i guess I like things as original can be, 'cept the performance!

Ah ok. You two hitting the shootout this year? Tyler and myself might fly out

I will definitely be at the Shootout :) Justin might be on deployment, though

Nah, I'm not very forgetful. Plus, the plastic retainer just allows the gas cap to lay on your paint and scratch it up.

Her new home.

hey, i was wondering how your exhaust mani and wg fit. i have a turbonetics t3 manifold and a 38 mm tial 2 bolt bt it doesnt clear the hood. it looks to be the same setup you have but i want to make wure the hood has to be cut and modded before i start cutting. thanks

I never had to cut the hood or anything. Just had to bend the oil dipstick out of the way a little bit.

Yo jaxness I took a page out of your book and re did my headliner and door panels (headliner was destroyed anyways) in plaid, but not pink LOL red and gray. Doing my visors and maybe the shift boot too. Looked great in your gsx and I didnt wanna just go with the same ole grey headliner since I had to replace it anyways.

I never thought of it like that, wouldnt want any scratches in your perfect paint, I only wish I had that problem! Keep an eye on your CEL light tho it can throw a code if your seal leaks I still think the gas cap is an often overlooked maintenance item. Hey is it racing season yet? oh sweet house too
