I have a welded diff and hate it. So wanting to go with a 4 spider diff but the spare I have has broken teeth on the gears. I'm looking around for another one to use but don't wanna buy one and the gear be different or something. So can anyone tell me if they're all the same? Thanks!

^ Yep, heres a photo from jack trans that shows the notch

Sweet. Thanks for the info guys.

Oh yeah, one other thing. It's been awhile since I've looked inside of a fwd transmission. Does the diff from that swap over to the awd's as well?

The original post was about center but see below

Depends on what year FWD you are talking about, 90-92 used used the same front diff, but 93-99 FWDs used larger axles and will NOT work with AWD or 90-92 FWD axles.

I didn't even notice that. I was just looking at the years he was talking about. Glad someone noticed. Lol.
