So a 1g CAS plug can be costly, even just the connector it self. I decided i wanted to find an alternative, and i believe i did. Walking by a (Huynda elantra)(also saw the same connector in other Huyndays) next to a few other dsm's at the junk yard i notice that their MAF connector wire looks alot like our 1G CAS connector , i took it home and noticed it was a 90% match, all i had to do was use a thin tip of a dremel and open up one side of the connector just a bit, and just like that i found a new solution for a common costly problem.
I have never seen a write up about this so i hope it helps. !
{this for when no CAS plugs are found anywhere in the other cars that use them}
It cost me 2.00USD for the connector with pigtails and 2 minutes with the dremel.
