Carrier Bearing (Intermediate or Half Shaft) to Engine Block Bolts, AWD (with spring
washers) - M10x1.25, 41.5mm length, 14mm head size, 7 head mark, 26-33 ft-lbs torque spec.

Not sure what the part number is.

that's why i love this page ! AHHH "Deep Breath".
i see you mentioned the "spacer". I'm sure some one will benefit from it in the future.
how were you able to find the bolt specs, if you don't mind me asking?

I suppose I should have posted the thread I got the specs from, it's ultra useful:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...t-size-bolt-nut-stud-fastener-1g-version.html

For anyone with a 1G and/or any running a 6-bolt, it's fantastic. And even for the 2G 7-bolt guys, there are many common sizes/bolts. There is a 2G-specific thread, I just don't have the link saved.

The spacer is needed for anyone not running the AC bracket (i.e. most people).

Pull the bolt out and take it down to a bolt shop, they can measure the thread pitch, length, etc etc. to find you a suitable replacment Every bolt i've encountered is M?*1.25 thread pitch so far, but its near impossible to get one wit hthe same sized head, you may find the right shank diameter, thread pitch and length, but now you need a 1/2 socket know what I mean? I have made this sacrifice numerous times. If you want the exact same bolt you might need to find a parts car.

Do not use anything but the oem bolts. They are a special bolt, others will break. There are no dowel pins to align the bracket. The bolts have a dog point on the end, and a special shoulder under the head to align the bracket.

This ^^^^ is very important. For many other bolts you can buy non-OEM replacements without worrying, but for these you must use the OEM bolts. Besides, shoulder or not, good luck finding a 41.5mm bolt anywhere else. :hmm:

Lol, if I had the bolts , I wouldn't take it to find a macth I would if just installed them, and never had started this thread. Still, thank you

Called dealer, and they discontinued the bolts, and look at the price I would pay with this company any one else , throw me a bone ? Still looking

As an aside to what was mentioned above, Ziggy (at RTM) will ship it to you for MUCH cheaper than that. The auto-quote on the website is very inaccurate for most things...i'd estimate shipping to be about a third of that, if even that much. It would be less if you were in Canada, that's for sure.

Was there a specific failure you can site to support this? Don't doubt it may cause an issue, but I believe I have non OEM bolts in this location and they have worked. Granted, I am still at stock power levels.

What dealer did you call? I see them listed on mitsparts.com (front for Cherry Hill). If they are discontinued, they didn't update their site.

Bolt - MB297860
Washer - MF450406

Snow , you always come through , thanks again
and I called my local dealer , and that is what they told me, but then again its rare to speak with some at the parts department that actually knows their stuff.

So, with that info, the dealer was able to order the 2 bolts, no I will wait, when they arrive I will update, and then I will label this thread resolved, thanks everyone
