Congrats on the times. Don't think we got an answer to the fuel used. Boost levels? I hate driving in high elevations. I feel sooooooo slow!!!!

Q16 and I just glanced at the logs on the 16g and was 25-26lbs. As for the elevation, well I seem to be making it work just fine.

...just a 3rd gear pull to 100mph will do. ;)

I understand. When you're chasing records things become a bit different, thought I'd ask though since I love looking at logs. I tried!

Lance Armstrong never made excuses, he just cycled past cancer and his doubters with his God-given ability. Let this be a lesson in this situation.

By the way, that is hauling ass up high or down low from where im sitting. :thumb:

what does the car weigh

To be honest im more intersted in that then the super duper secret one-off tune.

With that kinda mph it takes tune as well. But the car with driver does weigh 2080

Damm nice tree .008.
I wish sac had more night races instead of just wed. Nights it's well over 100 during the day down here

The 100 degree days is why I wait to go to sac.

Very nice times. Good luck on the 14B record.

Congrats on the win Justin.

I hate it when threads have any type of sour note in them, especially when someone did something pretty cool. But, I'd be lying if I said I didn't roll my eyes the second I saw the "DA" in the first post. It's not that it isn't information that some people want to know. It's not that I don't understand that it makes a difference. It's that you mention it every single time and throw it out there constantly. And then you make a comment about what the car should do at a different elevation. The truth is, for me, it takes away from what you did accomplish. The mph is great, it's a very respectable 16g time, you won the event, these are all great accomplishments. Although I know you're excited about the cars potential under different circumstances, it just doesn't need to be said constantly because what you've already done is good enough for respect.

That says it all, thanks Shane.

Sick times! and great mph

I agree with this, Its dsmlink not proEFI getting the tune down or within reason isn't rocket science 90% of the help comes from the car being a tuna can:p LOL and of course all that R&D with tire/launch shift rpm etc

But congratulations regardless i wish i could bring my car down any where near that weight level.

Good news to hear, congrats on the win & mph. Just for interest, what does NHRA's da calculator correct the best slip down to?

Talk about asking me to get flamed LOL. Based on the da from my weather station the calc says 10.20@138 for heavily modded turbo.

That says it all, thanks Shane.

Dont listen to him, the temp and da are absolutely vital information.

And some people have a life outside of tuners and may not know you live a mile high.

Its also makes for good discussion. Those 14b guys need to get off their high horse. Thats the only reason this thread may have a bad taste to some.

with his God-given ability.

You dont own a tv do you?

Youre making somewhere between 320-340 whp. Not earth shattering for an e316g and certainly not worth being so secretive with your tune about. Im sure elevation is playing a role.. no doubt. But at the end of the day... still no more than 340 or so HP.

Not knocking you... 135 mph is cooking so congrats!

Dude! Don't even get upset. You are doing an amazing job. It takes a lot skills and knowledge to do what you did. Keep up the good work.

I'm pretty sure those numbers are off. My fuel consumption, air flow, and weight/mph show more than that. So ya my tunes secret. But guessing my hp is a huge bench mark I won't get into. My cars ment to lay rubber down a 1320, not fill up a room with exhaust fumes.

Oh I'm not upset. I know I had a good night fri thus my reasoning for starting this post. I've got a lot of seat time getting the car where it's at now. And ya know what? I'll be burning more fuel at the track as soon as possible. Already planning my next trips and changes to the car. I'll let the others sit and babble while their cars are collecting dust on jack stands ;)

I agree regarding the "laying rubber." To be honest, your ET is more imressive for your weight and config (fwd) than your mph.

Im definitely not knocking your tune because it sound like you have it sorted.

But the math is just the math. At 2080 lbs and 135 mph youre making low to mid 300s. It is what it is. Honestly, as good as your car hooks and ETs, the HP is probably even less than im quoting.

Props to you for keeping your cool in a thread that took an interesting turn. :thumb:

Your elevation definitely makes things interesting so youre doing something right!
