hello there ive been doing a 92 1.8 to 4g63t swap. My 1.8 had a lifter problem so instead of droping in a bunch of money into a weak ass motor i decided to invest into the motor i want. I put in a 1 g 7bolt, it has been nothing but a huge nightmare for me.I am new to the dsm world with these swaps and everything i was told and read all over online the you dont have to change anything to do the swap. That was all a lie, i had to change rear roll stop bracket, harness, coil, cas and all tht. The guy i got the motor from said the motor came out of a 2g dsm but had 90 coil pack cas and throttle body the dude obveously didnt no what the hell he was doing this has been a long thoughtout money pit process but the build is almost complete just recieved new ecm today going to get it running and on the road shortly ima post some picture of it completed wish me some luck

Don't know who told you it was just a plug'n'play swap, but its very wide knowledge that its far from plug'n'play. Even a 2.0 n/t is a decent amount of work to swap it, harness, resistor, Ecu, etc. Good luck man
