I think I might ad some black to the low areas on the fender caps. It looks too plain as it is.

I masked it off really well and used some solvent on a cotton swab to clean up the edges.

When I did mine, masking it off sucked. Horribly. Any particular way you did it? I just got some thin blue painters tape from walmart and cut around it with an x-acto LOL Came out ok, but kinda sloppy around the edges.

granted this was now almost a year ago and spray can but, I still hated it. Its pretty much faded away now.

Thank you ma'am!

Josh: I used "fine line tape" found in body shops. I'm not sure what brand it was but it's what they use to tape off flames and such.

Alright cool, thank you again Corey. You always know how to help a brother out. Even when I'm always striving to be more and more like you ROFL

I got rid of my 96 eclipse gst a few years ago when I started my own automotive shop. Our shop is up and running well now and my fiancee and I kept her beautiful mint 1998 Eclipse GSX. It has been sitting in the garage for maybe the last 4 years now. This is the first time I have been back on dsmtuners in about the same time. Low and behold I find your topic and I just can't wait to get started on the GSX again. I plan on creating my own build journal. I will be taking my time to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration!

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those skirts look SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to get the car painted black on black with red on emblems/letters...

Just need to find the front/back bumpers and I'm set. Got the Fog lights mint condition and the Rear wing.

Give me about 2 months and I should have the 2GB Talon conversion semi done.

Mad props on the paint and skirt lettering Corey amazing job.

@josh That still looks pretty good! Stands out either way so A for effort! :talon:
