I have been battling an oil leak for a little while now. I finally found it to be the oil feed line (mine's coming from the OFH). I took some pictures of how it is routed and will try to explain it in any further detail if anyone needs it. Anyhow, my question is this: Do I need to reroute my feed line?
My concern is that the heat from the exhaust manifold is going to be extremely detrimental to not only the line, but the oil temperature going to the turbo itself.
I thought about getting a 180 degree AN fitting and running it directly down (right behind the hot side of the turbo) as opposed to where it is going now (underneath the exhaust manifold).
The other big concern is that whoever installed the OFH to turbo feed line did a terrible job. The alternator belt is extremely close to rubbing up against the fitting. Does anyone have an idea for getting something more suitable setup?
SEE PICTURES (apologies for the mess...didn't see much point in cleaning up until the oil leak is repaired )
Any ideas or paint drawings appreciated!!!
