So now my car runs like garbage when it "sees" boost. It will run fine until then. As if the eccu or maf are not communicationg. It just bogs down. Doesent matter how much boost. It can be 1psi 0r 14 and it does the same thing. Any suggestions. No misfiring, just bogging. Its not the gas.I dont really know where to begin.Spark is fine, timing is fine.

I've had that happen to me for the better part of a summer and later. Come to find out my uicp wouldn't stay together to save it's life. it would pop off on the freeway, parking lot, driveway, picking up dates, shudder). I used worm clamps, t-clamps, clamp camps. The shitty thing is the car would drive fine in vacuum, you throw 1lb of boost at it and it would buck and have a heart attack, or bog. So i bought a front mount and all was fine for a month. Then all that crap began again!! turns out a coupler would not stay on, so i beaded the metal part and Viola!!

in short, check for boost leaks.

ill check that out once again...LOL I just fixed my boost leak. It is possible its happened again.ill report back.

I had this same issue when my front O2 went out on me. It would spit and sputter as soon as it got into boost. See what your plugs look like and let me know

I had similar issues. Check for boost and EXHAUST leaks. I had one right at the o2 housing to downpipe and it must have affected the front o2 sensor readings.
1) Check for boost leaks
2) Check for Exhaust leaks ( I like to use seafoam, use the intake vac line that goes to your bov. Unhook it and let it suck in the seafoam. Not to drown it, think sucking the last bit of a milkshake and you hear that slurp noise LOL) Once you see white smoke out the rear of your exhaust you know you have enough and start looking all your exhaust parts and see if you see any smoke coming out. Walla you found your leak.

Eliminate those 2 first.

exhaust leaks are not going to cause these issues. Pre turbo will slow spool some and maybe kick a light for O2 if its bad enough but it wont stop spool dead in the water. Either MAF, O2 or plugs are my guess.

If it is just bogging down and feeling slugish, look for boost leaks as stated before. If it spits and sputters it may be a fuel delivery issue. Like fuel pump loosing its pump LOL

heres the deal. no boost leaks. when im coming out of boost im stalling now. Iam recirculated, either way, this just started happening. the problem is not an exhaust leak. all of that is tight and no leaks whatsoever. It almost feels like a fuel or air issue. The turbo spools fine and works good. no vacuum leaks either. Its got to be a electronic component. Also all injectors are working just fine.It starts and drives fine until i get into boost. Right now it hates boost and almost wants to die as soon as it hits it.
Also it doesnt spit or sputter or backfire, it just wont "go"...LOL

To: Primer plus, i have used seafoam many times, there no exhaust leak though, I tested.

Again its either O2, MAF or plugs. Not that hard to figure out.

im thinking on your lines. Il;l pull the plugs, I have an extra set. Im going to lean more tword the maf or o2 though. I hope its only the plugs.Although this would mean theres an underlying issue

When my o2 went I fouled out all 4 plugs. The car would run but would blow out spark as soon as boost hit and the car would just become a turd! I Have found that in most cases a bad O2 will rattle when shook. Though it might not be all the time.

this is whats happening. as SOON as it sees boost it actually slows down compared to all motor before boost, and just wont even accelerate at all.
my boost gauge hits and turbo sppols normally. My bov sounds off normally . Its just as if theres no boost at all. Seems like when it reads boost im going backward.

What happens when you rev the car when you aren't moving? My o2 issue the car would rev just fine all the way to the limiter but any boost an it fell on its face

Is your problem in a higher gear and lower rpm? Like lugging it and then trying to accelerate? Mine tends to fall on it's face/bog. I used DSMLink to see what was going on. Turned out I would randomly get 14 degrees of knock which retards the timing. Check boost leak and other things mentioned, then check your base ignition timing.

Any jerking/bucking when it happens? I had a similar issue. Would free rev fine and accelerate great until around 3500. But once it hit 3500, it was like a brick wall. Ended up being that the honeycomb in my MAS was completely gone. Replaced it with a used MAS and it was good to go. Worth pulling off your air filter and checking.

Is your bov recirculated?

I doesnt jerk or anything, it just wont go any faster even though the rpm and boost raise

i dont see any damage to the maf, but that doesnt mean its not bad. The honeycomb in it looks fine.yes the bov is recirculated

It may be that the ECM is seeing knock and retarding the timing, which would make it feel gutless. I had that problem with my rb25 skyline swapped 240. When it got up to tell it would start knocking and the ECM would back off timing. 14 psi felt like nothing.
