It should I dont see why not. I havent put it on the car yet cause the motor it is going on is not finshed yet. Waiting in the head. And I havent seen many people with the OBX manifold either. Just the ugly A** log style.... :barf:

Interesting, you may wanna poke around, Other then the iffy quality of OBX, i thought most didnt use it b/c it interfered with the T-stat.. I thought thats why they phased out super quick. Just bad R/D..

There was deff posts about the crappy welds and it not being beefy enuf to support the weight over time and cracking. if i recall correctly.. thats why most dont rock it, since its pretty cheap..Idk, i could be wrong.

Any tubed turbo manifold will crack over time if you try and support the weight of the turbo! Its just too heavy when the manifold gets hot. ALWAYS support the turbo! But trust me this things seems plenty beefy enough!! People just get so turned away cause it doesnt cost alot of money. Looking at it i am bout 95% sure it will clear (and i never read any posts that said it wouldnt) and if it doesnt nothing a grinder and a tig welder wont fix ;)

LIKE I SAID, I never read any posts that talked about it never said their wasnt any... i NEVER said I searched for that cause like i SAID its not nothing a grinder and a tig cant fix smart one... just go waste ## money the way you want to. I am 100% happy with mine even if I have to be doing alittle fabrication. Just means I put more work into my car which I like doing and take pride in. Thanks

Calm Down , it will be OK. I guess i figured you would have searched, since thats what most ppl with a decent setup do.. Esp when trying to make a good HP goal on a uner rated platform such as the 420a.. EVERY hp COUNTS.. sorry i assumed..

I take pride in my car to and do all my own work as well..I never said you couldnt fab, or fix it.. Im trying to give you a head up on the issues you may face. But Its your BBQ. If you are so good at fabbing why not make your own instead of fixing china's mistakes? If it doesnt clear the hood, then Welding and cutting Probably wont do much for you.. Just tryin to help, smart one... seeing as your new and all..
GL with your build, hope everything works out for you. You deff made a good choice with the turbo.

I did do research, this is not the ram horn type which is the one with the clearence problems, it might, small might, not clear the T-housing but its not that big of a deal and those posts you showed are way to old to take advise on a product that could of been updated, the last post on there was from 2008. Sorry for getting worked up I just hate when people instanly assume... yeah I could make my own but why not get one for cheap and if it works great if not then I have a base to work from. Thanks for liking the turbo... hopefully it will be bada**

Its all good. i hope it works for you, its better then payin the 800 LOL. But, being its OBX, they dont have the best rep for fixing or warrantying anything. : )

yeah i am not too worried... it was only $160... i have ate way more than that in this car LOL... true money pit... Vin Diesel couldnt of said it better himself... "not a bad way to spend $10k" and its even funnier and more ironic he was saying that about an eclipse with a 420a LOL

Doug at xtreme is an awesome fabricator and to be honest his manifolds are worth every penny. I can almost say with 100 percent certainty that IF you ever had a problem with one of his manifolds then he would fix it for you at no cost. The cost of a quality product from someone trying to help give options to a platform that doesn't have many IS well worth it IMO. Just thought I would throw that out there.

where did you buy this manifold? I'm interested in it and would like to hear about its clearance when you put it on.

I too have been looking to get this manifold, just because its less than 200$ the only thing im concerned about is clearance as stated. So for me and everyone else out here looking at this Post some pics of the installed product. Looks Good! hope theres no problems with this one, OBX! LOL

Hehe, I am glad my girlfriend isn't like that... Half the time when I do something to my car she wants it done to hers as well. When I did my cluster (see avatar) she had me do every light inside her car in LEDs, put them in her speakers etc etc.

Bought it, been running it for over 1,200 miles+ and so far so good, all 20psi of it too.......... <img src="http://www.dsmtuners.com/gallery/files/2/2/9/7/3/engine1.jpg" alt="New Engine Setup" />
