my engine builder has told me pic #2. is correct also, so i will be changing how i had installed the two bolts. :) one under each sprocket. like i said i cant see them because the front case is on, but from looking at that pic i think i have a better understanding.

and yes, each person can delete their own post. thats why there is a delete button...

So now you guys are sayin pic two, it really shouldent be this complicated
Of an answer IF YOU HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE! The oil pan is already sealed up but i can still move the two bolts if needed, so which ####ing holes to the short bolts
Go to!?! The pic number two would have short bolts by the oil pickup. The first pic would be on either aide of the crank sprocket. So which one.. I posted
This thread to get advice
From engine buikders that KNOW an I'm getting all this speculation. Delete your post if you don't answer my OP

Ok.
Even though I was off a hole, I told you EXACTLY where the f**king bolts go. It's not hard to figure out by looking at the car. Even with the TIMING COVER on (which I'm sure is what you meant, because the sprockets attach on the OUTSIDE of the front case), it's not hard to figure out where the sprockets are.

Use some common sense to figure this stuff out. I've built TONS of these motors, but I never gave much though to it because it's pretty obvious where they have to go when you look.

Don't worry about me trying to help you anymore. With an attitude like that, I'm surprised you can get anyone to.

wasnt directed tword you, you were helpful.

was directed to honda burner

I'm asking for people with experience not rando people so if you don't have the answer don't post here, i installed the two short bolts like picture one, short bolts in the two middle holes of the deep end of the pan. Where the crank sprocket is.

Sorry. I just put my oil pan on and when I went to thread the bolts into the rear main seal they stopped short but the short bolts were the perfect length. Didnt mean to post wrong information. I will re-check my own work tomorrow. I also havent put my timing belt on yet so I didnt know it was an issue with rubbing. Thank you though.
