I searched, none of the topics I found answered any of my questions.

I am interested in installing a quick release steering wheel/hub in my 2G (for theft reasons).

I have at least 8 or 9 dirt modifieds with one in them. I am trying to figure out how to put these into a 2G. Before I go tearing my steering wheel off, I would like to know what is involved.

Will any quick release hub work on any vehicle? As in the ones I have in the dirt cars? Sorry for the newb question. I have no idea how to go about doing this on a DSM.

Ahh, I gotcha. The reason I asked was because I sell alot of steering wheels for under $60 (which I would consider to be cheap). But I wouldn't call them junk either. They're just simple steering wheels for use on race cars. Once you take away the leather wrapping, fancy stitching, anodizing, and high-end brand name, you can get a nice, strong steering wheel without spending alot of money.

I guess I'm not surprised that some companies are selling flimsy steering wheels though, but I've been lucky enough to never come across one.
