Sheet meal forming tool? Beading pipes?

Anyone have a tool that they like a lot that won't break the bank? Need something that can I can use to bead roll the ends of intercooler piping. Tried it by hand and wasn't impressed with the final results. I have found a few I really like but I don't play on spending $250+

I always just weld a bead around the end of the pipe. Works perfect every time.

I made that, and I don't like it.

That's about the same as the harbor freight one, but they are only rated to 18g. So I'm wondering if that is 18g aluminum or steel or stainless? Plus a 20% off coupon and the one at harbor freight would be cheaper. I've also read they need to be modded to work well, and ideally I was looking for something a little smaller. Something with a 6" throat would be awesome but it seems those are MORE money for some odd reason.

Thats why so many of this cheapo newbie high school kid DSMers are constanly fixing their cars and are getting headaches finding boost leaks, engine failure, engine stall, engine misfire, etc... Common DSMers, mod your cars the right way !!! As a certified auto tech myself, I hate having customers that mod their cars the shitty and cheap way and try to be the mechanic themselves screwing things worse and then bringing it to me saying they are tired of their shitty car. I hate diagnosing a failure when their engines are moded like shit... These are the same DSMers that wish for 400hp+ on their DSM, dont like to spent the right amount of money on good parts and love to buy cheap made in china ebay parts.. GET REAL !!!

Oh zip it already. Welding a bead works fine, it's just not what I prefer. I had it done on one of my pipes that weld 30psi all day no problem. The guy that did it ran it on his rx7 race cars at 60psi and never had a problem. So it does work just not the look I prefer.

I have been thinking of that, but no extra jaws for the vice and no lathe to make them. If you want to make some I'll weld some nuts to vice and try it out.

I miss having access to that Bead Form tool. I keep thinking of buying one. I was hoping I could find some dies and make something.
I have used a sheet metal bead tool, but can not fit some of the tubing I have wanted to use.
