Like the title states, I get my fuel trims in line one day, the next day I get in the car, warm it up, and fuel trims are way off. I am constantly having to re tune idle and cruise. Is this normal expectations for speed density? Should I just tune it and leave it? The car runs fine its just the fuel trims that keep changing everyday. Any help greatly appreciated as usual, thanx in advance Brian or Corey :thumb:...or anybody else that has valuable info:hellyeah:

I would love to know too. I've been fighting with my SD tune for like 1 week or so already and every other day it changes up. Not to mention the temperature in the area I am in keeps fluctuating.

Im not running Link SD so im not sure if anything I say will help but here it goes:) I've had similar issues as well. Through trial and error. And more trial and error. I've found that dead times played a huge issue in idle and cruise tune. Fully warmed up it would go lean now and then aswell, Found that by adding a few % to the coolant enrichment fixed that and adding a decent amount to the IAT enrichment helped with warmer ambient temps and making extended pulls.

Good info, I've been battling this issue since last summer, and now that I've completed my fuel system I want to get a solid tune and be able to leave it and know that it will remain the same, I will give your suggestion a try.:hellyeah:

I hear you. I battled my issues on and off for a few months before I went WTH ill just adjust stuff and see what it does. I do know link has many many tuning variables. I just have a couple of things to adjust to dial in my tune. Ill tell you once you do you will love driving ## car. I have two one for 93 and the other for E85. Once they where both dialed in pretty good the car was fun as hell to drive

I hear ya, I'm loving it alot more since I loaded up the evo 8 mod1 maps, might give the GSR maps a try too.

A lot of it's because SD needs to have the air temp and barometric pressure maps dialed in for the injector size you're running. other wise when those factors change (as well as humidity in the air) then the tune will be off. It's nothing to really worry about but being able to acccess those maps would be a huge help. Not sure how tunable they are in ECMlink but on my haltech i have full control of them as well as all other correction maps and although it took a while i was able to dial my tune in to be as consistant as any other i've seen.. play with those if you can access them
