I like..., Be aggressive!! :p

oh and Good luck!

Thank you I think Im going to need it! I will for surely be pushing it but hopefully not to hard since it is a three hour drive to the track!!

Hmm I forgot all about this. The time in my sig was done on with my BEP HX35 and I think I'm going to the track this weekend too. I'm probably going to spray this bi*** though because I really want a 10 second pass :p

a few weeks ago the car went 6.96 @ 103 in the 1/8th (using a little silly spray up top). :D
Very nice 1/8mile time!!! THe best of luck to you and hopefully we can both get this record in the tens!!

Thanks man! Good luck to you too! Drive to the track, run a bad ass time and drive back :thumb:

Well I failed but I guess I still got the record!!
First pass:
11.237
119.68
1.607 60'

Second pass
11.250
119.95
1.618

third pass
2.085 60'

As you can tell I broke on the third pass, but Im still not sure on what let go. Something let go on the launch but after I got pushed off I couldn't figure out what. Car was driving fine and nothing looked broken. So I drove the car home 3 hours away! When I got into town I did a pull and it was only the front wheels spinning for traction  Also the car was taking forever to spool up on the line which is not normal. Started looking around for the problem but I could only hear a boost leak but I couldn't locate it. All in all I was just happy the car made it too the tack and ran some low 11 second passes and made it back home!

I didn't see any lasers up there, do you have a pic of your car? Congrats by the way. What tires and suspension were you running. I'm guessing with those good sixty foots and low mph that your auto right?

Thanks!!! and I was running in Kearney, Nebraska. The car is an auto! Im running stock suspension and MT drag radials. The car had easy 1.5 60fts in it but decided to break instead.

And ill try to upload some pics later and hopefully the video too.

Mr Peepers just ran a 10.5something today.. I just heard through the grapevine so I dont know all the details! He will have to update you all with the goodies!!!

His is twin scroll so it has nothing to do with this thread about who has the fastest in the crappy bolt on .55 AR housing.

Also congrats on the low 11 second pass.

-red97rum- went 11.173 @ 123.66 yesterday with his .55 AR housing in his auto 1G he did use some spray though.

Yea crappy .55 a/r housings pulling 11.1s with a little giggle juice. :thumb:

Well comparatively crappy I would say. I would love to run my 7-blade HX35 in a larger T3 housing to see how much better the compressor would perform.

Well my assumption is based on the fact that I can not get more than 48 lbs/min out of my 35 when it has a compressor that is supposed to easily get 52 lbs/min. I would like to verify by changing nothing other than the exhaust manifold and turbine housing to see if it gets better to eliminate the possibility that the limiting factor is something else on my car.

So if any body wants to loan me a manifold, hot side, and O2 housing to go with I would be glad to check it out.

That sucks about the T-Case! I'm glad I have a spare sitting in my garage.

Well I did run an 11.1 this saturday with my .55 bep hx35, but I hit the nitrous in the middle of 2nd gear. But then the car started stumbling/hesitating at the top of 2nd because my gas tank was on super empty, so I think the fuel pump wasn't picking up fuel. But it only did it for a split second so I actually let off the spray because it went lean and then I got back on the spray in 3rd gear and said F-it. ROFL This motor has almost no compression anyway so whatever.

But honestly the best I've done without nitrous was an 11.37 so Mr. BeansblackTsi has me there.

Here's the slip, I swear if I would have had enough E85 in the tank this would have been a 10.99 pass. Just a couple weeks ago I went 6.96 @ 103 in the 1/8th.

Edit: Here's another slip. Used the spray to spool up here and then sprayed through 3rd gear, 75 shot by the way. But it's jetted super rich when in boost, AFR's are high 10's.

Then there was this run and for some reason the nitrous wouldn't activate, so I had to sit there on the line and stall up the converter without it. Then I tried to hit it mid track and only fuel sprayed so the motor bogged.

Yeah dont worry I also have a spare!!! Just trying to get the broken part out of the driveshaft end is the hard part!! And good runs man!! Get some e85 in it and go run some tens because I know I wont make it back to the track this year so somebody has too!

Still looking for the 3 records I post about above.. (please)

So I've been searching and it seems

BEP bolt on housing (hx35) 11.2 (mike1992)?
BEP T3 .70 A/R housing (hx35) ?
Stock Holset housing (12cm hx35) 10.5 (Mr. Peppers)

Little help here please guys... I'm seriously interested in the Holset scene (records inparticular).

I currently have the bep .55 housing record I do believe at 11.237 @ 119.68mph.

I'm interested in this. Any chance you could post a mods list or you can even PM me if you want. Also any tips you may have for getting this out of the setup. I personally don't see why 10's aren't very possible but I'm going to try.

Are you on the .55 a/r housing yourself?
