No I did not but are my vaccum hoses hooked up corectly?
I read that the top line of the wastegate is just suppose to vent and the side line gets conected to the boost controler. Its connected turbo housing to boost controler to wastegate. thanks ill connect bov after tb
I Switced the hose on the waste gate still nothing.
I found my boost leaks.I did A boost leak down test and was leaking on a couple couplers and the turbo housing was also leaking like crazy. I tried tighting them as much as I could with out striping the threads out. It looks like I need a new seal and its a brand new turbo.
I did not know you wouldnt get boost if you are not moving thanks.
Im not tuning with any thing just trying to go for 5 psi.
Best way to build boost while sitting is by using anti-lag.
You do have ALL the proper fuel mods to run the turbo? Stated above, you need to rotate your center section to have the inlet and feed vertical (12 and 6 position). You did use soapy water too?
Sometimes just tightening down the clamps isn't enough with the couplers. It may work better removing it and tightening it down on a different spot. Sometimes what happens is the clamp is just enough over the lip to allow a leak and any kind of tightening will not fix that issue.
from being parked, you will see no boost, but you should at least see vacuum moving if you rev a little. as one of the other posters said, the wastegate top nipple def needs to be connected to the MBC as well.
