Man whats going on with the prices of ECUs. I used to be able to pick up non eprom AWD tubro ecus for 40-50 bucks all day long, now everyone want 150-250 buck for them. Is it lack of availability? Dont understand the price going up that high.

You must be in a boat all by yourself. I have NEVER seen somebody try to get $150-250 for a non-eprom ecu. I still sell them for $50. The most anybody can realistically ask is $100-110. At that price you can have it converted for $135 and compete with the price of an eprom ecu. Where is it that you're seeing people ask up to $250?

yes, that's the price.

It's up to who is selling it, there are people that is trying to get some money.

There are some other once that Just want to take the garbage out, that's the cheapest.

But, the price is accurate.

The only place where you can get them at that price is in a Yank Yard which they are around 45 with a CORE of 5 backs, (Warranty for 3 months and no Money Back).

150 is the price they are right now.

The price is whatever the market will bear, as long as someone is willing to pay it, that's the price. If someone who doesn't know any better goes looking for an ECU and they need it quick and the first one they find is $250, they might pay it. Of course those people that know better, won't. I've got two DSM ECU's and an EVO VIII ECU board (just no case) in my living room and I promise I didn't pay more then $100 for any of them.

Sold my flashable ECU a month ago for 150. Whenever I see ECU's for dirt cheap, I try and pick them up and resell them because they are definitely work more than 100.
