Yesterday redid the wiring on my wideband to make a better connection so its working now. Tonight I'm hopefully going to go grab a cruise log and start the real tuning!

I got brand new timing covers! All three pieces. 2 new 12in fans, factory alt (get rid of this gm bs), Black ISC, and gauge pillar pod all for $40!

The Saturn Alt. wasn't working for you?

Yesterday I installed the HDR lip I purchased 4 years ago. When I bought it, 4 years ago, I took one look at it and said "like this will 'effing work.." and then tossed it into my garage pile.
So there it sat, until I found it and decided I'd give it ago just yesterday. It looked beautiful until I tore it off on the very first curb I parked at.

Today I reinstalled it. :D

Adjusted my fp actuator way to open. I got nothing pass 1 psi. Felt like you n/a guys LOL
Readjusted it and took off my hallman back to stock bcs. Feels more laggy but better smoother car.

Put in new radiator hoses and got another package from stm:) now im all ready to start putting it all back together. I cant friggin wait.

Today was a huge day for my talon.
for starters I sold an hx40 and got some funding for my car.
traded a blown 50trim for a great set of get chromies.
Received and installed my aeromotive afpr
Bolted on my exhaust and downpipe.
Ordered new corner lights.
That pretty much sums it up... so close to being on the road I can taste it.:hellyeah:

Did some tuning with ECMLink for the first time ever! Just gotta get the tune better before I switch over to speed density.

I have done so much the last few days... Tore apart both doors and fixed the power window controls that break off and fall down in on both doors. Fixed passenger side lock assembly and rods. Fixed factory keyless and alarm. Made my own bracket for holding the lip of the front bumper up. Replaced my turbo/header bolts with studs and nuts instead. Made a gasket for between the turbo and header and it has eliminated all exhaust leaks. Mounted a new air filter and pipe to turbo. Installed hood struts and eliminated the prop. Cleaned the interior... I think that's about it... I've felt very productive. :)

My poor car has been neglected for the last 3 months. I got a project motorcycle 2 weeks ago, and all my little projects for the Talon got put on hold to get the bike up and running.

But later today, I hope to finally finish the air filter box to drop my intake temps substantially. I have a sheet of Plexiglas that I plan on thermo-forming to fit.

decided to clean my rear diff some

also found 2 of the bolts rusted through and snapped off. I have drilled and will be heli coiling them tomorrow

right now its primed and drying

fixed yet another boost leak then found out my timing was out by one tooth so just ordered new hks cam gears new cam belt and balance shaft belts

For the first time in months I drove it. Only a stub of a downpipe, no ideahow much gas was in it I freaking drove it. Almost made me cry. Ive worked on everyone elses cars my whole life and this time it was mine. I was shaking so badly I had to stop because I couldn't hold the clutch in. It felt great.

installed the bearings and started getting the block ready for building it tomorrow and then painted some parts

Got 4 new tires for the GSX and bought new hatch struts and a hatch privacy cover. Also got oil and a filter to do my oil change. Can't believe it's been 3k miles since I put it back together already. Also got some more cleaning supplies to restock the ones that are getting low. Will be doing major cleaning and polishing on both dsm's next weekend when I retrieve ole' red from it's hibernation cave next weekend.

Cleaned the throttle body on the GS and installed some Pioneer 6.5's to replace the 15 watt monster factory speakers :p

Jacked up the GST to drain the transmission fluid and discovered I didn't have the 24mm wrench that I needed....looks like I'll be doing this later in the week :/

I just hit 3k miles since i put it back together. So today I did the 3rd oil change and while i had the car up on the rack I went ahead and changed the trans oil, transfer case fluid, and rear diff fluid. Also just did a real good look over upon the whole car and actually everything looks good. I will be pulling the gs out of hibernation this weekend and going through the whole car getting it ready for some summer fun.

well today i tore out all of the interior. i have everything out except for the steering wheel and rear view mirror. :) started sanding what was sanded, painted, then repainted again, augh. has some like four layers on it. its looking good and will be adding pictures to my flickr account. glad to have had a nice day to actually work on it, cant wait till its done. got a case n all night and tomorrow so i know what ill be doing. :D

Changed the front brake pads, surprisingly easy. :)
