I'm actually running some autozone pads and I'm not very happy with them at all. I've been thinking of getting some new pads and rotors soon. I was going to go with Hawks from Pep boys.

Your going to get different opinions of what is "the best." I suggest you think about how much you want to spend. EBC and Hawk are A+ but very pricey. Again it's all preferance. Or just get full break kit with ceramics and slotted rotors for less than 200 shipped. But those aren't "named brand."

I swear I priced Hawk pads at Pep Boys for 30$ per axle (Front/Rear)

I've got ebc redstuff pads and ebc gd series slotted and dimpled rotors on the rear and they are great I've got no noise and stop great! My fronts are becoming warped so I will also be getting the same up front aswell soon. Plus the main reason I went with the redstuff is also because the cars red so had top match it a little ha ha. I'd be screwed if my car was blue LOL bluestuff pads don't really work on the streets!

On another note I've heard that project mu pads are great my friends ran them on his stock disc's on his skyline and they worked wonders! NS series I think they were, but you pay a lot for them!!

EBC Greenstuff is what I use.. Great stopping power too.

I have stoptech pads on my 04 mustang gt DD. I LOVED the performance for the price, BUT now they are etched and squeal. I wouldn't buy them again. I am buying some hawk pads next.
