I have been scouring the site for hours trying to find a trace of that 420a turbo car that was running 10's. The only thing I can remember is a picture of the car with an exhaust cutout from the from passenger side bumper. He just posted a dyno sheet or track video not too long ago and I CANNOT find it ANYWHERE!

Because I'm losing so much time I have no choice but to ask for help here. If I remember right, he didn't have many posts on the site either. Could be a 2GNT user as well.

Help!

Sorry, neither of those are the guy. Let me be more specific. The car is dark colored possibly black, it has a drag look to it. I can see the photos in my mind but cannot put together where I saw them. I think I viewed his profile on here a little while back and he had very low stats, like a new member/lurker. I believe he also had some kind of funky throttle body, like mustang or something.

yes, dear god thank you! I just won a free dinner haha! I don't have time to explain, but thank you!

I am very confused but ok! There are actually a few 420a's in the 10s, but sadly no one has been able to beat hahns record of 10.87 (yet) A few members are on the verge (though not sure there info is updated here) and one in particular DSM-Zero, diffidently has the power, just needs way more seat time.

I really want to get my car to the track and actually just about five minutes ago I found out the Nashville track is open so I may get out there Sunday and see what my ride is looking like on the pavement instead of paper.

The deal with this post was that a local was saying a platform like mine could not make it to 10 seconds in the 1/4th without being stripped out and unstreetable (if thats a term). The car could be driven to and from the track if desired was my point (even if you don't) and the win was worth a free dinner.

streetable, DD, and highway legal are 3 separate entities :p. I think to be officially streetable I herd something like it has to be able to drive 50 miles, or maybe it was 500 miles, be able to turn off the car, and then start back up within a certain time frame. Not sure how reliable of information that is, was from a guy at work that was a muscle car guy. DD will vary on definition from person to person. My car is streetable, a DD, but not highway legal (because of fiberglass fenders and emission pieces)

My car is for sure illegal in states with emissions laws. KY doesn't have them so we consider anything that can be driven on the road with no complications as streetable.
