ClassicCar - If you haven't already, sign up for Indystars DSM, there's a good group of DSM enthusiasts based in Indy who would be more than happy to help you get that thing back in tip top form.

I see no reason why this car would not make an appearance @ the Shootout this year ??? :aha:

Hey Classic, I will be down in Bloomington this weekend, you should shoot me a pm and let me see it on my way down :p

jay leno is a car collector.. resell it to him ... he would probably pay 5 times as much as you did..

also advertise the car... somehow.. that way it becomes a high demand and value rises.. more people that kno about it will want it.. meaning. more bidding and competition.. ;) good luck hope it brings you a fortune.. but then again you know this probably being a collector yourself.. maybe even be Jay Leno himself LOLo umm im not kidding LOL

why would he want to sell it?

I am going to do my best to get this car to the shootout. I think that would be fun.

Wow been reading this post for a minute LOL seems like a novel I just read glad the kid ended up selling it, hopefully this new owner keeps taking care of it and brings it to the shootout this year. I for one will be at the shootout with the one in my avatar. Anyways congrats on gettin her man. She's a beaut.

It's gonna be pretty tough to find a functional and not worn-down 90 Head unit setup. If you find one, awesome.

I have the stock unit from my 90 sitting right in front of me. Its actually a 2 piece unit with a separate tape deck and am/fm unit that uses a cable to connect the two units. The only pieces I don't have are the two triangular brackets used to bolt the units together and into the vehicle. They are a little dusty and have some grease on them but should clean up nicely. The radio worked when I took it out 8 years ago and all the buttons work and click into position but I'm not sure on the tape deck. I would test it but I don't own a single cassette tape LOL. I may have the stock intake snorkel and an uncut, unhacked MAF and air filter can too. I'll check the shop tomorrow.

I have a factory intake in good shape. Do you need the MAF also?

I have a factory '90 deck with AM/FM, tape and CD.
