I also listen to Christian metal or hardcore. Bands like Zao, As I Lay Dying, Underoath, August Burns Red, Cry of the Affliction just to name my favorites. My dad who is a pastor used to hate them until he read the words to there songs. Although he isn't into the loud screaming style he still loves the message. He even rocks Red and Pillar and Flyleaf now and then. Oh and by the way I am a worship leader at my church here in Kauai so I know alittle about worshipping the Lord. Nice to see some fellow Dsmers chiming in on this one. Lol listening to Zao right now as I work aurai.

I met Jake Luhr ( Lead singer of August Burns Red ) on New Years Eve at First assembly of God In Waukesha on New Years. He is the nicest guy in the world. It was kinda funny i asked him what he listens to and he said he really only listen to worship? Overall hes an awesome guy and look up his testimony, he did the whole thing that night it was pretty tight. Also he said the next cd is going to basically be a mixed feel of Thrill Seeker and Constellations, thrash tech feel if you will. Im excited for it :)

Thats cool bro, thats the one thing I miss about the mainland. We never have any good shows out here, but I'm in the process of setting up some shows on our island. Just gotta get more funds together to support them. I also miss going to Cornerstone every summer in Bushnell, Ill, so many great Christian artist to hear for a five day festival. Lots of good teachers too!

For me, ALL TIME favourite song is Every New Day by Five Iron Frenzy. Nothing better.

dont know how you guys feel about dubstep but this song just get me so pumped!
YouTube - Chrispy - Roll Out

Duuuuuuude. Yes! Love that song!!! I've actually been working on my own dubstep. Did a remix of Carol of the Bells. Can I plug it here? More chill, not as chaotic as Chrispy's stuff, though I'm working up to that. That's why I haven't been on here much! Making music is free... working on Klipsy however is not. LOL

You know what, I'm gonna plug my song seeing as there are a few dubstep fans here. LOL. If this is against the rules, take it down, but let me know :D

A Day to Remember
All That Remains
Rise Against

A Change of Pace

Depends on my mood. Pandora has me on the move to diff artists though.

i'm pretty much into metal. Symphonic Black Metal, and Melodic Death Metal are my fav. but i also like some deathcore, and just plain ol' regular metal! anyway my current fav songs are:

BAND - SONG
Amon Amrath - Under the Northern Star
Arch Enemy - We Will Rise
Suicide Silence - No Pity For A Coward
Son of Aurelius - Facing the Gorgon
Obscura - Incarnated
iwreastledabearonce - Alaskan Flounder Basket
In Flames - Dial 595-Escape
Horse the Band- Murder ===> Nintendocore LOL
Fear Factory - Drones
Drop Dead, Gorgeous - Fame
Dimmu Borgir - Gateways
Carnifex - Collaborating Like Murders
Archons - Of Pride and Prejudice (underground, you might not be able to find their stuff)

i'm a musician, i play guitar and drums. so even though i'm into metal, i'll listen to anything that makes me go "dang! he/she is a really good musician!!"
my screen name on here "necrotopsy" is actually the name of my band which i'm the drummer/songwriter for

One of the best metal bands ever

^^thats a great song, def one of drake's greatest.

right now my favorite is E.T. by katy perry and kanye west..its so catchy

I've been listening to a lot of Soilwork lately.

I'm rather partial to the bands out of Gothenberg. Just a good mix of high gain tube amps, driving drums and thought provoking vocal work. It gives me a good excuse to take the Krank halfstack on a tear while I'm home on leave! :D
