^^damn something about that talon looks so right. post more pics if you have some!

Thanks! It's definately a work in progress and takes back seat to gsx but it's an awesome DD. Should be installing some fog lights soon and blacking the headlights out, then window tint and it'll be a done deal for the talon. Probably nicer wheels down the road but these are good for winter beaters. Can't complain about the car for any reason, got a good deal for it; bone stock :]

Pic shot during 2G 2.3 stroker build. parts in view are Manley H-Beam rods, AMS 100mm crank. Obviously ARP rod bolts...

Damn good picture, what type of camera?

Was it necessary that picture had to be 4000x3000 or whatever it was? haha. Here are my two new favorites, one I took and played with PS to get the engine bay in there (people keep thinking its a sticker on the hood) and the other I was actually in front of the camera in my car. No worries here, the shots are only 800 x 530 so you can count on short load times.

two different cars of course. both 420a 5 speeds. one even sports forced induction of the 26 psi range :O

I can see some big ass brake calipers on the force fed Avenger so I'm assuming whats under the hood isn't just a 420A motor with a turbo kit, whats that thing do at the track?

Great cars btw, I keep finding myself wanting to do the Avenger front end conversion just for fun but haven't gotten around to it yet. The way the gray one looks I'm almost half tempted to put it on the 2011 to-do list.

^ love that dark gray with bronze wheels. Awesome!

6G72 Twin Turbo Swapped avenger or bust.

Word of Advice, do not run Nitto Invos in the snow if you want to get somewhere safely. Im sure the 245 width and ~3 degs of camber didnt help either, LOL. Hope you enjoy!

neither of those front ends are stock. the silver is a TC1 and the gray is a TC2(or Viper).

my best time was a 15.33 @ 126 mph. no traction pretty much is my only excuse. but that's no lsd, on (215/40R18 Nexen N3000's so HORRIBLE) street tires.
my track times with it are embarrassing, but i only ran it twice. the calipers/rotors are 3000GT/stealth swap. same size as the stock gsx rotors. but that's almost an inch better then stock and an extra piston in the calipers.

<< Hardcore Mopar\Dodge fan right hurrr

Yes there is a Mopar sticker on the talon. and yes DSM's had Mopar Related parts and such from factory or were recommended replacement.

definetly has some power if it still got 126 @ trap.

Great car, man! I love the color and that 2GB talon style

Well I'm trapping 121mph and running 11.6's and with any amount of traction I'm pretty sure I could run low 11's and I'm AWD. You keep on doing what your doing with that thing, those speeds that your trapping are fast.

well i must admit that i recently got rid of that car. due to financial situation i could no long afford to keep it. and it was about to get expensive REAL fast. stock ignition can only handle so much (besides 2* colder plugs, and 9 mm wires it was stock ignition). started having issues with that... pre-detionation, and misfires at higher boost. doh.
very fast car. weighed in at 3002 lbs with me in it (and i'm fat) making close to (maybe more) 400 hp. had water injection, was going to tune for 50/50 with meth, but never got around to it.

i can't say i like high HP fwd cars much. i'm strongly considering the 4g63 awd swap into the silver on in the other picture. eventually when my money situation straightens out.

This is my favorite picture of mine, 1992 talon tsi awd.

Shits low, what suspension.

The suspension setup is KYB AGX, with 2" lowering springs from Megan racing. I absolutely love the way it looks and rides. Here in Maine the roads are horrible, and I have never bottomed out once!
