I was looking around the internet and found a SWEET acceleration diagram of the new LEXUS LFA and it looked awfully impressive. I'm a fan of the car, but I'm not a fan of the high price tag so I thought I'd try and make an acceleration diagram of my daily driven 100,000 mile 14 year old DSM and how it compared... I used the log from ECMLink I took when I ran my fastest quarter-mile time to get the data for the line graph. I say not too shabby and if I ever pulled up alongside one at the track I might surprise the guy driving since it looks like we'd be door to door at the end of the track. Of course I don't think my 130mph to 200mph (more like 160mph before my car blows apart) would be as vertical as his nor would I impress people driving down the street in my DSM, but down the 1/4 it looks like I could hang with the $375,000 Lexus.

0-60 in under 4 sec is a fast car, 0-60 in less than 2 is fast as shit, borderline trailer queen.
I could see an improvement to 100 in 6 seconds, possibly from boost/tuning or faster shifting. You running fat with E85?

My car was put on a diet (3100lbs) and 100% E85 during the run, its hard to see because of the graph but 0-100mph is 6.9 seconds. She's booking on street tires! I feel like the VSS is a bit out of calibration but its as close as I can get to creating something like this. I feel like this car is borderline trailer queen already and I'm still on the stock drivetrain and bottom end, all my co-workers don't understand why I DD the thing but I love it!
