Has anyone ever used ARP bolts on their valve cover? I got these in the mail today and wanted to show everyone what these look like. They were not cheap at all since they were almost $3 for each bolt. These are 12 point bolts as you can see and use a 12Pt. 8mm socket.

Nice for bling, got mine from extreme psi not arp but same color different style for 3 bucks for one, that can get costly.

They do its called stainless steel vc bolts also for oil pan, i have both great pieces and prices.

They look great. Not many people know you can really get whatever you need by size from ARP.

I think the SS bolts from STM are a much better deal

Hey guys.

After seeing a few threads on these I am actually looking into putting a Valve Cover Bolt kit together with the ARP 12 points.

Pricing so far looks to be about $37 for an ARP 12pt Stainless DSM Valve Cover Bolt Kit and $28 for an ARP 12pt Black Oxide Bolt kit.

I am trying to see if there is an interest in these.

Also, anytime you need any Random ARP items, let me know! I should be able to look it up and get it for you ;)

Let me know,

Way to be a good vendor and step up, best DSM vendor IMO. :applause:

Damn those look good, and I'm not a big fan of purple...but that valve cover looks great!

Thanks for the compliments guys! :D

Alright. I am going to get enough for a few kits coming and I will make a Vendor Announcement when I have them ready to go! :thumb:

Put together a kit for the water neck, 12pt bolts, studs for the heads, 12pt nuts.

and a kit for the drivers side motor mount, and a kit for the coil pack, and a kit for the t body, and the timing cover. ect...

I'm sure your car is oh so nice. Seriously, what is wrong with spending money on a quality american made fastener. Go pretend that your car is actually cool while you punch the clown.

$3 a bolt for a "high quality arp fastener" for a valve cover is a joke. Please explain how they are any better than what you can find at lowes for .15c each?

This is a valve cover, Not a head. ARP's are a waste of money for a valve cover, Sorry but its the truth.

What's the torque spec on the VC bolts again? :p

I agree that this is a waste of money. Go down to your local hardware store and buy some nice looking SS bolts for a fraction of the cost.

This thread should be in the "appearance" section.

I agree the ARP's look great. My buddy has a lot of random ARP bolts holding things on and they look great. "I" just wouldn't do it. Some ARP's are great like for the head and main. But the money can be spent somewhere else for $3 a bolt.

Are these ARP's made with the same treatment as the head studs are made?
