Could it be a bad u-joint?
Shaft itself is tight. The Driveshaft Shop shaft doesn't use DSM joints, so those were all new when the shaft was replaced a month ago as well.

Literally every part of the driveline has been replaced in the past month with the exception of the rear differential.

Thanks every one!!! And again thanks dacowgod for your fine tuning once again!!

I say its the transfer case thats broke; not the 4bolt rear or 4bolt axles.

I think its in the rear by the way its clunking back there! Also my rear diff had some play, and that didn't help anything...

On the 10.3 pass, i let off and slammed on the breaks a little past the 1000ft cause of the vibration and I was a little scared of not being able to stop... In the video you can see my breaks come on before I cross the finish line.. One more thing, all u-joints and the carrier bearing is brand new.

Wow!!! Awesome run! Extremely impressed, and even with letting off!

kp116 is keeping close track of your car(nothing but good things to say), maybe it will get him out to the track soon with decent conditions :)

Congrats!!!

Thanks man, Yeah he needs to hurry up and help me prove these turbos LoL

I'm not saying I would of had a better e/t, but I did let off cause i'm a wimp ROFL

Shootout------I'm going all out 40+psi and not letting off! If I can get the stock ignition to hold...

Wow is all I can say! Congrats man that is amazing and knowing that there is STILL more left on the table is stupid to think about. This makes me want to take my junk to the track asap! I am on the bolt-on .55 a/r housing and my car weighs a bit more than yours but hopefully I can pull some respective times! Get that damn thing into the 9's!

I am so glad that every thing is going great, and being able to get video's for you guys!!!
I am so freaked out right now, just thinking about how close i am to the single digits with this turbo, I can't stop watching the video:D
The car logged a high of 62lbs/min when me and Ricky tuned it last week! More to go.

Curt is not using the FP bolt-on style housing- he is T3.

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
It's true that he's not currently running the FP bolt-on housing. That picture is of his current HTA35R T3 setup that has gone 9.11@160. When he ran the FP3065 a few years ago, he was using the FP bolt-on housing and went 9.4@146.

SOOOO glad I was there to witness this! My first Shootout is gonna be hella exciting!

BTW...has anyone contacted our friend DSM_PWR about this yet. I think it would be quite a conversation. ;)

What was you 60' and 1/8 mile time and mph? I am going to the track tomorrow for the first time on QTP's so I want to compare my times to yours.

60ft------- 1.627
1/8th------6.738@ 106.89
1000ft-----8.725
1/4--------10.391@ 132.94

Good luck!!!

I did a little walk around for you guys that haven't seen this years set up...
Don't mind how dirty the car is, i'm too lazy to clean the thingLOL

Nice run man!!! Good luck with the 9's definately has the potential

Congradulations bro you are doing very well. I ran 10.81 last year with the same turbo. I went to the track this year and broke my rear axle. Car definiety has a 9 in it.

I tell you what talon dave. If your stock ignition isn't holding up and I am not in the running at the shootout you can borrow my dyantek. Just get it ready with a power and a ground and it will be an easy install LOL.. I really wanna see a 9.. Good stuff man

Very nice. Cant wait to get my 7-blade hx-35 in stock 12cm housing to the track on 35 psi. Should be intresting. But nice runs.

Thanks man!!! Im going to do my best to get a 9s pass.. Im not so much worried about the ignition, its the driveline thats bugging me... I think if I can get another 1.5 or even a 1.4 60ft, 40psi, and not break anything, it should be close to a 9.99 thats all i need!
It would be sweet to run a 9.99 on a Hx40 and stock ignition:hellyeah:

They've done it on 35rs so I don't see why you couldn't pull it off.. When you hit 9s the bug will hit ya again to go faster... It always does.

Above all else.. BE SAFE. GJ! :rocks:

:hellyeah:

Well, dug it to the car today to see what broke, and come to find out it was another Tcase!!! I thought for sure it was the rear diff cause of the clunking back there, The broken piece was trying to lock up the rear wheels i guess!!!

I want to see this car run! Are you going to be there this Thursday? I think I might run my car for the first time.
