Thats cool. I used electrical tape to fix my window trim. Came out pretty good. I'll have to take some pics.

I took mine down to the metal and painted flat black. Looks a million times better, but I will invest in some new trim when I get the $$$.

That's good stuff! I have been looking for some new window trim and avoiding the dealer ship at all costs. LOL

I searched JNZ for the part numbers and nothing came up WTF

You have to choose car model and year before you'll get the results

My search criteria was 1997 | Mitsubishi | Eclipse |

then i searched for part number , f.ex MB881973 for the left side molding

its there =)

Looks good on the car, brand new straight from the factory so to speak

dont know why everyone is talking about the trim beeing no-existant , i found it in like 1 minute

I got mine at the dealer last month they cost 91 dollars but they look nice, but they are expensive at the dealer. They have to order both of then the guy say that the driver side the have to order it from Japan I dont know if that is true but it took then like two weeks to get then here.

this is a great thread, my upper trim was in really bad shape, I used to 3mil vinyle tape (really thick stuff) to cover it but the edges arent sticking too good so Im considering getting new trims pieces.

I know this is an older thread, but I just ordered the driver side upper trim (which is the one that is supposedly unobtainable) and it went through just fine. I guess I'll see if they send me a notice or anything if they don't have it. I'll update this post once I know. I got the other 3 pieces of trim from the dealer, and this drivers side upper drip molding was the only one they couldnt get, lets see if JNZ pulls through.

i tried to get a passengers upper drip moulding and jnz said its discontinued idk what to do with it now. it looks like crap with the metal showing through the black

well long story short someone broke into my car and destoryed the passenger upper window trim and smashed out the window, (Scumbags...karmas a bi***) All these posts were very helpful since the body shop i brought it too told me they were unable to locate this trim. I was hoping to just order it from Mach V but their website says they no longer carry it. So after trying a few other sites i ended up on Mitsubishiparts.net the website said they had it in stock but i thought i better call them just to make sure. Good thing i did because turns out they didnt have one available to ship, the parts dept was very helpful tho and the guy gave me the # for a few dealerships that claimed they had it in stock, so after a few more hit and misses i finally located a passenger side upper window trim from a dealer in ohio for around 40$ and said they would ship it to me (in NJ) for around 10$.. not to bad. Now lets hope it actually comes and the body shop can actually bend the metal trim good enough and put the new trim on so my window lines up and seals correctley. Also the weatherstripping inside is torn where they were trying to break in. Can i just order new weathertripping as well??

I also tried to order a set from JNZ a while ago, they said they were gone but the catalog hadn't been updated. If you didn't call to confirm they have them, they don't have them.

Jnz Tuning or Mitsubishiparts.com/net do not have these anymore. Dealerships are the only luck I've had searching for these. Nashville's dealership costs $48.25 per side........MB881973 + MB881974....good luck everyone
