I call my baby Christine, because that bi*** is possesed. Like the movie. "She demands my complete and uquestioned devotion and when outsiders seek to interfere, they become the victimes of Christine's wrath."

EDAD

It's short for "Eat Dick and Die." Which is what I tell it when it won't accept my vastly superior will being exerted on her. Eventually she accepts that victory is not hers and she is affectionately called...

Ginger.

I named my talon tallywacker 10 years ago when i was 16. Hence the username. Why? Because its a funny to me.

I call her Atë.

A Greek word for "ruin, folly, delusion", is the action performed by the hero, usually because of his or her hubris that leads to his or her death or downfall. There is also a goddess by that name (Atë) in Greek mythology, a personification of the same.

And the myth:
In Homer's Iliad she is called eldest daughter of Zeus with no mother mentioned. On Hera's instigation she used her influence over Zeus so that he swore an oath that on that day a mortal descended from him would be born who would be a great ruler. Hera immediately arranged to delay the birth of Heracles and to bring forth Eurystheus prematurely. In anger Zeus threw Atë down to earth forever, forbidding that she ever return to heaven or to Mt. Olympus. Atë then wandered about, treading on the heads of men rather than on the earth, wreaking havoc on mortals.

I don't think I could have found a better name.

Apollo 13 - It always has a problem, but still somehow manages to make it home.

Since I dont have the DSM anymore, the name got passed down to my 1996 GTP.

You sold that nice Laser? :( I remember a while back you started a post about how you wanted some opinions on how much you should sell it for. What did you get for it?

Yep. I want it back now.

It actually didn't break down much. Once I replaced the IAC valve and got a new coupler for the air intake it idled fine and the check engine light went out. Really the only problem I had was the exhaust breaking... broke the clamp on the muffler 4 times, the silencer fell out of the muffler going down the road, weld on the test pipe (no cat) broke and had to be redone, gasket on the header descinigrated. But it never actually broke down on me.

I sold it in January, got $2200 cash for it. I've been looking for it ever since, if it's still in the shape I sold it in, I'd trade my 96 GTP for it or sell the GTP and buy it back in cash. Nobody's seen it. I know like 3 people from the town the kid I sold it to lives in, they haven't seen it. Asked on here (lots of people from that town with DSMs, on here), nothing. And it's not like it's hard to spot.
