The fill plug is on the front side of the transmission just below the intake pipe.

Thanks man but now I am #$%@ I already drain the oil out but now I can't Remove my Filler bolt its so dam tight is there a spray or something that helps me remove it i have to go to work in 2 hours i m so screwed
 
dam it guys I was so stupid i should of loosen my fill plug first before draining out all the transaxle oil now I am F@@#CKed i cant remove the fill plug its so tight is there a way for me to remove it?
 
no i tried it with a breaker bar and it didnt even work is there like a spray that helps loosen the bolt? or am i turning it the wrong way? using the picture above Looking at the Fill plug Needle pointing at 9 o clock <---- and push it down |

So basically I am turning it counter clockwise and thats the procedure to loosen the bolt right? if so the bolt is not loosening even with a breaker bar so is there a liquid or spray where i can spray it on to loosen the bolt? NEED HELP i cant drive to work =`[

Yes, you are correct that counter-clockwise is the direction to loosen. Happen to know anyone with an electric/battery-powered impact gun? If not, it might be a worth while investment for you for the future. They can be had from Harbor Freight (if you have one near you) for a cheap price.
 
well if you have a impact give it a small bump, might have to use a pipe on the breaker bar, but as your last resort do you know were the breather plug is? you could fill it through there it might take some time though.

where is the breather plug exactly if my friend and i try tomorrow and nothing happen i am force to fill it through the breather plug then. After that I invest in an impact gun. But as of now I am low on cash doing all the maintenance and removing all old hoses and all the tear and wears parts and put in new ones. at same time trying to save some cash for my project for this summer. 1G awd gonna try n rebuilt the whole engine.

Well as a last resort you could try tapping it with a hammer and use a pipe wrench (the pipe wrench may mangle the bolt head however). The bolt head sides are tapered which makes it extra hard and why you can't use a 12 pt socket/wrench. You have to keep pushing the 6 pt socket/wrench on as hard as you can while turning to engage the taper (I wedged a crowbar against it). After mangling it so many times I finally just replaced it with a normal bolt from a hardware store and am now happy.

If you use the air breather make sure you don't put more than 2.1 qts in and you'll need patience.

it looks like this that i circled yellow, its about the only good shot i can find of one but its just above the passenger side axle. just pull up on it and there will be a small hole about as round as a pen or pencil.

is that the breather plug you were mentioning about? if i pour the oil in this place i only need 2.1qt doesnt the transaxle need like 2.5qt?

i spray a whole mess of liquid wrench and yet it didnt work i also tried and hammer it a little to crack the bolt grip and nothing happens i guess i m forced to pour it in this breather place
 
yep that black rubber thing just pull up on it and it will come out the transmission then just take your time filling it will be a slow process since the fill plug is still in and air will build up so you will be taking breaks and probably make a mess, or take a 1qt empty gear lube bottle and make a funnel out of it by cutting the bottom off it stick it in the hole and pour a little at a time into the trans.

oh and yeah its only 2.1 qt's

The bolt must be on there REALLY tight if you can't even budge it with a breaker bar...... How long of a bar are you using? Is there enough room to pull it from the top instead? I haven't changed my tranny fluid in a couple years, so I don't exactly remember.
 
The fill plug is located there for a reason - so it can't be overfilled. It may or may not damage anything based on condition of oil seals, o-rings, and gaskets. I personally would not risk it. It's almost certain you will have oil leaking out places it should not be if the level was correct. Like air breather, axle seals, gearshift rod, speedo gear, and input shaft (you better pray your input shaft oil seal is perfect because if oil slips through here, your clutch is history).

You're going to have to drain the tranny again sometime (not to mention its the only way of knowing if the tranny is filled to the proper level) so I would do anything to get that drain bolt off - torch, cut, drill, grind - just destroy it. You can always get another bolt from the hardware store.
 
This may be slightly unpopular advice, but if you can't get it off and can't deal with it right now, use the service manual recommended fluid amount and use a little piece of hosing (can get from parts store) to pour your fluid into the speedometer gear hole.
The speedometer hole is a lot larger than the breather hole and the speedometer is sealed with an o-ring rather than an adhesive, which makes it a little less of a pain to get back in.
It is a little harder to reach tho... Its got a wire plugged into it and it sits right "inside" the bracket for the rear roll stopper. It's just a few inches from the breather.

But in truth, like everyone is saying, you really eventually need to get that plug off. It's possible that someone used threadlocker on your fill plug so you may need to heat it up to get it off. Keep in mind if you attempt that, that your working with an aluminum casing which i believe you can anneal (make softer) as low as 500 or 600 degrees, so take care with your application of heat.

EDIT: Didn't see he said he got it, info is probably useful for someone though...
 
I kinda did the same thing when doing my clutch. I drained the fluid out of it. Got everything put back together and the only thing left was to put fluid in it. And of course just like you the bolt wouldn't budge. I had the advantage of having the car up on a lift. I got a box end wrench about fifteen inches long and just reefed on it. I can honestly say I put everything I had into it. I hit it harder than I have every torqued on a bolt in my life and finally it broke loose. I'm a real big guy, crazy strong. I was expecting the bolt to break at any time. I don't think you are supposed to antiseized this bolt as you don't want anti seize in your tranny. Also you want to make sure you are filling it while the car is flat on even ground. If the front of the car is jacked up you would be able to put considerably more before it starts overflowing out the fill hole. Way too much
