ok so my buddy has a brand new turbo on his car. not sure the brand but its a 60 trim t4. but he bought it brand new and his car idled really good and he drove it from his house to mine last night and it ran fine. It had a coolant leak from the feed line to the turbo b/c of a bad fitting. it wasn't leaking too bad but it was leaking. So we drove it around today a couple of times and every time it ran fine. we tried to stay out of boost only hit maybe like 4 psi. but when he tried to drive home his car ran horrible. Would not build boost, sputtered, it was pretty much undriveable. now his turbo could not be blown b/c of a small coolant leak can it??? It also happened the first drive after we changed his thermostat but i doubt that has anything to do with it. and the engine was not overheating it just ran horrible any ideas?
