Okay so about 5-5:30 pm yesterday i noticed a very clean evo 9 with stock bbs wheels about to turn onto highway 544. Well i passed him and a few minutes later he pulled up behind and started tailgating me, he had a free lane to go into on the right side, anyway he swung around me and doing about 70 in a 45 and started swerving in and out of traffic. He got caught behind a geo metro convertible, and couldnt pass because of an 18 wheeler in the other lane. The geo turned off and i pulled up behind the big rig, he slowed a bit behind me, then the truck turned off and we were door to door. I glanced over and he took off once again making an a** of himself swerving very close in and out of traffic. I saw that when he made a hard left his right rear wheel seemed to wobble left and right as if he were missing lug nuts. LOL Well i guess he had to know about it, but i wasn't sure. Younger guy, early 20's, evo was a GSR(no MR badge or brembos that i could see) Im just asking if anyone would think he would notice it, and if a wheel was wobbling like that, couldn't it potentially harm the AWD drivetrain components?

I want to see if anyone else sees people driving higher pedigree cars with seemingly obvious problems (like a GSX with miss-matching tire sizes) Ive seen a 1g GSX with 17 by 7.5's in the back and steelies in the front...They looked like spare doughnuts. LOL

..... either that or it coulda been a bent rim/bad tire...

Bent rim/Bad tire could also cause that ;)

I see it all the time on SUV's when peoples tires are low and have a bulge

I don't know. I never understand why people pass me only so they can turd along in the fast lane a mile later refusing to yield, as though they've paid higher road taxes or something.

If you aren't passing, GTFO of the left lane. If you aren't going to keep a better pace, don't pass in the first goddamned place. If someone else is driving like a jerk, good. He'll be the cop bait.

from what it sounds like he was doing 40 while the evo was doing 70, in a 40mph zone, if hes in that big of a hurry he should just go around

I can't agree more!!! :applause:

There's a 17 year old kid that just graduated from HS back where im from that got a Lamborghini Murcielago for graduation.......because his wheel fell off his 360 Modena and wrecked it.

So yes, apparently SOME blithering idiots dont recognize a wobbly vehicle as a bad thing.

^True story too btw...

^thats a gallardo and all US evos have brembos

I just got done reading about how the red painted brembos have a tendancy to fade/rust. I guess thats what I saw, and just figured in my mind that the lower model came with different brakes. I doubt they were aftermarket.

i thought te GSR's were the high end model and the MR was the "bare" model but the MR was tuned more for racing.

GSR is the normal one.
MR is the high end with BBSes and bilstein suspension
you are thinking of the RS which was sort of rare. it was wingless and creature comfort-less (although you could add a radio and a/c and everything)

yea some ppl r pretty dumb... i went muddin once and got my truck stuck and called a friend..... well his front tires wasnt on rite and when he punched it in 4 wheel drive he broke the 4 wheel drive and then there was 2 stuck trucks LOL

Who the F*** buys their kid an exotic sports car for his first ride?! Some people weren't meant to have a lot of money... or kids for that matter :toobad:

+1 LOL. But since they have money let them go ahead and waste it and learn from their mistakes the hard way.
