SCAM gsx on craigslist same picture same price same listing but different states...

First one is in Georgia and the second is in West Virginia. why are people using the same pictures and the same listing? Makes no sense to me aside from them not having the car and wanting to waste peoples' time. Should I even bother trying to email them?

It's probably a waste of time. I've seen ads up here in MD using the same pictures off and on since about a year ago.

i think its a scam. i was looking at the same one in atlanta and the next day i looked at it and it was flagged for removal

Probably a scam. I would email the person and see what he has to say. You hardly ever find a 98 gsx for that cheap.

Haha that ad has been up in the LA clist for about a month 98 mitsubishi eclipse defenitively a scam. I saw another 98 gsx for $2301 listed as far as oklahoma.. it's pretty sad.

This same one is on the Boston MA one. I keeps reappearing. Craigslist is full of scammers. You think craigslist would stop these crooks from posting. It just shows they are well organized and national. Keep flagging bogus ads w/o mercy!

i emailed him a long time ago, when i was looking for a GSX, it was in the Chicago and Milwaukee ones also. he said he is stationed in Alaska and the car is up there also.

and there is another one. its a barcelona red 98 GSX for 2300$ thats also a scam

DON'T email that person! I think that's all the scam is. They are "harvesting" email addresses to sell in bulk to spammers. I see them all the time. The ad says the car is in Normal, IL and in the photo it's on a car lot surrounded by palm trees.

I had one on CL in birmingham and the lady said it was in florida and her husband and her were splitting up and it was 2900 bucks. I cant remember the exact color but I remember it had a CF hood Auto with a 3 gauge pod.

I kept asking about the timing belt and she kept telling me that she has a contract with ebay and that she would ship it for free to me. an instant redflag popped up and I reported it.

Funny thing about this is, same ad has been up in multiple states for over two years now. Back in 2006 same thing. Even leaving a number in his ads a couple times I tried to call him/her and call him/her out on it but both times not getting through to anyone. Also I've seen this car on ebay for sale.
