I guess its because Im from out in the middle of nowhere. Didnt mean to sound rude. Yea i have a garage. But 15+ Dirt Cars outside. No one touches them. And i have a Pit Bull. She looks mean but she woulnt hurt anyone. I take it most of you fellers live in the "urban" type of areas. Well i have 8 acres of land all to myself and the only neighbor is a half a mile down the road and hes got well over a hundred Mustangs. He parts them out. Again, not trying to sound rude. Did you guys leave your keys in your car? Or did they hot wire it up? I dont know anyone that had their car stolen. Its uncommon around here.

You neighbor needs to hook me up with a T5 trans out of a 5.0 car not a svo 4 cyl.

Hes got everything man. Literally. Evey year Stang, every part, its insane. He have people from Texas, Canada, Florida, etc just so they can get a car or some parts.

Hmm.......I guess I'm proud to say that no piece of rice has ever touched any of my cars. :|

i almost put a high rise wing (like the one in Jeff99GS's eclipse) on the back of my Talon because i thought it was unfair Evo's can do it and its not considered rice. Anyways i liked the wingless look so much it was sooo clean i just went with that i would probably never consider putting a high rise wing on a dsm ever again.

i stil have ricer head lights though, ill just make sure to keep my next DSM perfect

You know the wings on the front of a sprint car? I bungy corded one on the back of my neon and took it up the road hahahaha.

I have actually never liked rice, so I have never stuffed it into a car to see how much I could get in it.

I had an Automatic' 92 Honda Accord 4dr. Old F22 with Underdrive pulleys, header, exhaust, CAI, Coilovers and 17" konigs. At the time of alignment, had the mechanic leave in -1 degree of camber and the thing handled great. Pretty good turn outs on the Autocross track. Sold it and got the Talon.

I like your Talon 'wannarace' I was hoping you had more pictures of it in your profile... maybe you'll add some later?.. :)

First ricer....well, kraut car was my 94 jetta that i turbo'd and painted arctic white with frost blue pearl. Although it didnt look bad at all because i kept it all euro (golf headlights, euro lip, smoked tails/fogs, etc...) it was lucky if it was 250whp LOL. It seemed quick but not so much.

Was it a show car? I remember some dude in the area a long time ago had one of those jettas with a ton body work done on it etc etc. This was probably 10 years ago.

Thanks... I added a few more pics to my gallery. I want more close up shots but any closer and you can see the damaged clear coat. It's only on the top of the fenders, the roof and the spoiler. Not too mention all the double stick tape for the body parts need to be redone. I'm shooting for a rebuild in the near future and will be getting a paint job. There's a 514HP vette I have to whoop up on. Fricken father in law.

I hope he underestimates your Talon when that time comes ;)

Checked your photos out, left ya a comment :)

I used to be all about show cars and never had a care for performance. I guess that made me a ricer (not affraid to admitt it), but that was mostly because I didn't know much about engine performance and I had nobody to teach it to me. But after 9 months with this '95 GS, I knew I was prepared to learn anything and everything about making horsepower. Right off the bat, I started looking for a 2G with a 4G63, bought my '99 GST, and sold this GS about a week later. And as they say, the rest is history.

Nah i wasnt even old enough to drive 10 years ago haha :)

However that car was a NextLevel car and was just out of control constructed haha. I did win a few shows with my car at the time, sold it for a talon (kicking myself for that), and i have NO idea where its at right now.

Ah, vettes are slow. Trust me, I live in the corvette capital of the world. worked at the corvette plant for two years. I do have great respect for them. they are gorgeous cars, handle amazing, are very fast (Z06's and ZR1's) but for 1/8th mile, they have problems hooking up. specially when i jump 6 cars out on them at the track. Very few Z06 owners I have actually saw drive their car under 13.5's at Beech Bend (1/4 mile drag strip here). Have owned many of them down the strip until I blew my transmission up and broke a rear axle. Have not been back to the track in my car since then, just to rough on my baby.

another side note on corvettes for all the haters out there.

The corvette is something we all want. A fast 11-12 second car from the factory. With nice interior and air conditioning and heated seats. A car that can out handle virtually any car out there (cough cough on independent leaf spring suspension), a car with big brakes, and a car that has a factory warranty.:hellyeah: Corvette's rock, just cannot afford one at the moment.

3rd Gen Eclipse With a Galant Turbo Kit, that SOHC was so slow but i dont care thing handled like it was on rails...until you hit wet leaves :banghead: EDIT: note in the 3rd picture the intake that had been ripped off the car.....had to lay it under the hood........and i dont wanna talk about where the turbo went LOL...bye bye block
