Forza 2 Challenge

So I am purposing that we have a monthly tournament with DSM or Mitsu only cars.


My idea being 3 class's of cars and maybe as many as 8 tracks (1 race per track for each class, 24 races a month) I mentioned this in the Forza 2 pic thread and right off the bat there were people who supported the idea. So if your on board please post saying so. If you have track or class suggestions post those.

I would like it if we agreed on each class and track. I have not been able to play for about a yr now since I was in Iraq, and since my wife swapped us over to wireless DSL, I have to wait until payday to get a wireless adapter so I can play on live. Sooo I don't recall all the tracks, but I am thinking.

*Edit* with a simple points system. Theres what 8 people allowed in a room at one time? So 1st place would take 8 points 2nd 7points, 3rd 6 points etc. Discuss.

Yea, I would like to see at least 16 people, the more the better to a limit . I don't want to try to keep track of 30-50 peoples points. Feel free to make track or class suggestions, what ever you would like to see.


Would you guys want to keep it DSM ONLY or just Mitsu/powered by Mitsu (Talon)?

I would except like I said in an earlier post, I can't play live until I get a wireless adapter. It would figure the phone jack on this (living room side) of the house doesn't work. or I could use a LAN line to the wireless hub/router thing .


First week of August I should be up on live for the first time in nearly a year.







*EDIT* Also as far as game rules, I am going for ABS as the only assist, otherwise there will be contact, no traction control etc. And anyone who does the driving backward on the track BS will be penalized the first time, 2nd out of the tournament. Same goes from crap like trying to wreck someone on purpose to overtake etc. A little contact, it's racing it's understood. Ramming people off the track or brake checking people etc. Won't be tolerated.

Unless someone says otherwise, the cars I am for being allowed are. Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Dodge Stealth, Mitsubishi 3000GT & the Evo.

I think it should be either an all talon/eclipse room or an evo room. If we try to mix it up, the evos will leave the DSMs in the dust, period.

You think so? Cause in the game IMO it's not quite like RL with those two, I personally thought it could make for some interesting races depending on the track. As there are some would be in favor of the evo's some in favor of the DSM's... But so far thats 2 -1 on wanting it to be Eclipse/Talon only.

I am not at all for having both rooms / two races per class per track etc. So it needs to be decided now mixed or eclipse/talon only. On another note, we almost have enough B class people to start the races. I am thinking August 8th (time yet to be determined) for the first race. It is a Saturday so there shouldn't be that many issues with people being able to attend/log on. And that gives everyone plenty of time to build there cars, tune them, paint them, all that good stuff.

I'll put it this way. Unless your car is obviously painted differently or the body is different. I don't see how anyone will be able to tell far as car to car. Tune to tune sure you can change that.

I would rather discourage a purpose built car for each track, however I wont say you can't do it.

as far as classes go Id like to see a S, A, B kinda thing.

cant get a dsm to U as far as I know so then wed have to run evo's or 3kgt's only for U class.
