"This BOV is off of an SR20DET. Some people say this BOV will hold 20 psi, but I never boosted over 13 psi. This would be a great BOV for anyone trying to piece together a turbo kit. Also has the same mounting flange as a 1G DSM, so it could be used as an upgrade for a 2G DSM."

Is this true?

and was looking at the new Nissan R35 and saw the BOV. At first, I told myself, "Hey that looks like my 1g BOV.." And as I looked closer, I saw the Mitsubishi emblem stamped on the side of it!

Am I wrong and blind :tease: or am I right and cool to have our bad ass BOV on a bad ass car? :sneaky:

I was interested in what you were saying about the Nissan R-35, so I got some specs on it.

That would be sick.
But our BOV's dont hold much boost past 25 psi?

A friend of mine got to see a GT-R up close and personal and it had BOV that look like 1G ones and have the mitsu emblem on them as well.

I saw the same thing, does anyone want to look up the part number to make sure, or did mitsu create a new "part" for the r35/skyline/gtr wutever the #### they are calling it these days.

im almost a 100% one of my past SCC articles mentioned it being a mitsu product

Somebody post up some pixors!!! I know there has to be a close up of one somewhere out there.

Skylines have used 1g style bov's for a long time.

I searched and didnt see anything posted on this yet sorry if it has been posted. I was at a LADSM meet last night and a new GTR stopped by when he popped the hood we saw Mitsubishi 1st gen BOVs here are the photos to show
