- After having daily driven a 1.8L 1Gb, and a 2.4L 3G, I went searching for a AWD DSM. Towards the end of 2006, I happened to drive by a small buy-here-pay-here dealership and saw this sitting on the lot--she was mine before the week was over. She had issues: someone had started the process of stripping it out. She was missing many things from the rear of the car including the rear seat belts, spare tire, jack, trunk privacy cover, and it had a 1g trunk floor and carpet in it.
I've spent thousands of hours working on, and obsessing over this car over the last decade+, learning how to wrench, and seeking out everything that was missing, rebuilding the suspension, and otherwise bring it back to factory spec.
Now that I've gotten older, I'm in a place in my life where it's finally time to make this car what I've always wanted it to be.
