- The car was originally built by kilo4, and passed through 2 owners before I purchased the car in 2020. The car had been sitting for years, and has since been brought back to life (thanks to a lot of help from Ted Marquez), broken, and is being rebuilt.
The ultimate goal is to have a 9 second manual street car that is not just a track build.
9/2021
Jacks stage 4 trans exploded. Car was parked, motor and trans pulled. Original intent was to simply refresh some leaking gaskets, but it snowballed into a fun project.

2 1991 W5M33s were found and brought home. Always nice to have a backup, even better it’s an early gearset

Spent way too much money on new OEM parts, quite a few aftermarket parts, and decided the head needed to be fully rebuilt after seeing the carbon buildup on the valves and measuring the deck flatness at .0042”. After resurfacing we’re sitting at .0008”, and absolutely beautiful as well with the new valves and guides installed.

The car is getting a full refresh, including a f*** load of degreasing and scrubbing, a 3 angle valve job, new Manley valves, bronze valve guides, Supertech Viton valve stem seals, ARP cam cap bolts, Kiggly HLA, GSC zero tick lifters, new gaskets throughout the motor, lots of new bolts, cometic mls head gasket, gates timing belt and water pump, new oem timing components. Waiting on the last piece of the puzzle, the NexxRacing oil pan gasket and the car will be put back together.
The car made 548WHP on 31PSI on a dyno dynamics, tuned by Lucas of English Racing.

The car has since been turned up to 42PSI and tuned by TedSpec. The car will be going on a dyno once put back together to see the power difference.
