- Was browsing on craigslist one evening at work looking up my usual suspects; tbird sc, 2nd gen Ram, 1st gen neon(i cant help it i love them), mark viii, xj cherokee, wj grand Cherokee, and dsm. When i did my dsm search, i ran across a maroon gst for 1500 obo. I looked at the list of things he had already done( alternator, power steering pump, rack and pinion, brakes and rotors on all 4 corners, spark plugs and wires, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder.). After replacing all those parts the engine compression just dropped out one day so the ad said. After looking at yhe asking price and reading all what was done to the car, i concluded that this was a kid that couldnt afford his DSM. So i made him an offer to trade for my perfectly running neon rt. He was more than happy to to get a running car again lol. Took the car to the tuner and had a leak down test done(which it passed), and then had the head rebuilt.
